Starward Two Fold continues to impress me every glass I have! Without a doubt my favourite Aussie whiskey under $75 and it truely is a must try for any whiskey lover! You must try Two Fold!

Did the Colonial Brewery x Whisky tour combo, where the latter went for 1 hour and included a whisky tasting of 5 offerings. Well recommend the tour for anyone beginning their whisky experience and see a real working whisky distillery.

The issues I had however was the planning & organisation of the tour; we came promptly on time but had to wait for others in the group before we began. Was asked if we wanted a drink at the bar while we waited on others, we went with that idea but once our drinks came out the others in the group arrived and then had to finish the drinks. Didn’t feel this was fair after spending $30 on drinks only to have to scull it. Also at the end of our tour, the whisky wasn’t ready for our tasting session and had to wait for them to be poured.

I still think it’s worth doing the tour, it’s a fun learning experience and with better organisation and planning could be even better.

What fantastic Birthday Present thank you No. 1 daughter! We did the tasting package starting with lunch and tasting padle at Colonial Brewery (great way to start!) then on to Starwards for the tour and tasing session. By chance we shared this with a fantasic family and together we had a brilliant afternoon tasting our way through the limited project barrels only available over the bar. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, guiding us through this exceptional cellar of whisky. Tawny and Mesquite were the show stoppers for us! Definitely will be going back.

Friendly staff, very informative. Nice whisky but i can't say enough nice things about the mocktail they make themselves with pear and wattleseed, it was very pleasant to drink, not too sweet or over powering.

As good an experience as you would hope. This was a perfect start to our holiday to Tasmania. A wonderful warehouse space with ample room for couples or groups. A perfect spot for lovers of whisky. Engaging staff, delicious spirits, ticks all the boxes.

Starward is one of my faveourite whiskey, however they were let down by their customer service. May have been a bad night, but no-one seemed stoked to be there.

Guys there were very friendly and the menu is 10/10. Reasonably priced. Definitely coming back soon

We recently did a tour. Customer service was really great. Tasting flights were amazing. Its a good function space - its just a tad out of the way.

Welcomed with enthusiasm and a smile by the wait staff. Waiters took the time to explain the whiskeys in detail, different flavors and the process of making the various types. Great experience!

Great selection of whiskeys, knowledgeable and friendly staff, amazing location with a selection of indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice selection of snacks too. I’ll be trying the cocktails next.

Great value for the whisky flights, good service and staff. Keen to do a distillery tour and do a hand filled personalised bottle this year!

A operating whiskey distillery in the industrial part of port Melbourne. It’s a great place to enjoy drinks with friends and it would be a good space for a function. We did not eat yet enjoyed the variety of whiskeys as well as wine and beer. I am not a big whiskey fan yet loved the cocktail options. Worth a visit.

I celebrated my birthday at this venue. It was a pleasant experience. The distillery is clean and cosy. Tables are well spaced and all the covid safety rules are followed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We have given the chance to taste their most recent product which was not in the market yet. Overall, I had a great experience.

Great small Melbourne distillery. A really cool place to hang out goth a few friends after work. Had a tasting flight last time and loved it. If you’re looking for good quality whisky that doesn’t break your bank, go for the Nova or Two Fold. Will go back here again and do the Masterclass. Well done Starward team

We had a tour here for a friends buck party and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were so helpful and accomodating, the tour was informative and the space was perfect.

Bar tenders are so knowledgeable and generous with their time. Whisky is top notch and such an impressive venue, looking forward to the next event there.

Excellent whiskey, aesthetically pleasing and friendly staff. Do ask the staff if they have any limited bottlings that are available by the dram.

Really nice place and smells great too! There is a private event that day, while busy their friendly staff still professionally explain about their whiskies and their distillery. Their core whisky are great but the ones that they didn’t sell in the market took the spotlight.

I wasn't a whiskey drinker but after I visited Starward. It totally got me! The Whiskey flight was very reasonably priced than any other places. A friendly bartender will explain about each kind of whiskey. If you want to try good quality whiskey and cocktails, highly recommend this place. But if you want something to eat, their range only got finger food quite expensive and not so good.
