Thank you to the team at SSV for installing my Apple CarPlay. Their guidance, support and excellent service made everything so easy for me. My daughter got her apple car play installed there a few years ago and now I went back and I couldn’t ask for any better service. Thank you I am so rapt.

Quoted me a price of $500-600 to install a full sound system in my car including 4 speakers, 2 amps, 1 sub, and a hesdunit, i was happy with this price and was going to book my car in the following week, then when i spoke with Nick, he changed the price and was way more then i could spend and wanted to spend, was quoted over $1400 to install a system into my car which DIDNT INCLUDE wiring, i was frustrated with this price as i was quoted a lot cheaper by one of the other workers the first time, lucky i didn’t decide to go to SSV and get ripped off, don’t seem very professional in what they are doing, mainly sells alpine products which arnt that great anymore either

I made a booking here for last Saturday for a Front & Rear Dashcam install on my Jeep.
All I can say is that Nick and his team were very professional and the installation was prompt and efficient.

I would definitely recommend you give these guys a call for next Sound or Vision needs for your car.

Rude customer service. Everytime i asked question his responses were harsh. Trying to speak over you and wouldn't even bother moving out of reception to show you stuff around. Seems to have no interest to deal with customer. With that service i wouldn't even spend a dollar at your place.

Have had several dealings with SSV over the last three years. Their service has been superb on every occasion. Nick and staff have been totally professional throughout - courteous, very efficient, and above all, helpful. Would unreservedly recommend SSV to anyone.

Absolutely exceptional service. The guys at SSV helped me out with a new amp, wiring kit and sub for my Sprinter van. Not only did they give me a great price on the parts but they helped answer my questions about my install and troubleshoot any issues I had along the way, even though I didn't purchase the head unit or speakers through them. It's rare to find customer service this good these days and for that reason I'd wholeheartedly recommend SSV to anyone.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of speaking with David at SSV, who provided me with some of the most unprofessional and rude customer service I have ever received. I am writing this review to share my disappointment and caution others who may consider seeking assistance from this individual.

From the moment David picked up my call, it was evident that he had no interest in helping me or addressing my concerns. Instead of providing clear and concise answers, he responded with curt remarks and displayed a lack of patience, as if my inquiries were inconveniencing him.

Not only was David unhelpful, but he also demonstrated a complete disregard for basic courtesy and respect. He interrupted me multiple times while I was speaking, showing a complete lack of professionalism. His tone was consistently rude and abrasive, leaving me feeling frustrated and disrespected as a customer.

I hope that this review serves as feedback for the management of SSV, and encourage them to address the issues with David's behavior and ensure a more positive customer experience in the future.

In conclusion, I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of David at SSV, and perhaps SSV overall. His unprofessionalism, rudeness, and lack of expertise make him ill-suited for a customer-facing role.

SSV we’re brilliant in their service and knowledge of the products they sell. Highly recommend them to anybody, will be going back when I need to update.

Popped in to SSV today (Friday the 25th of Nov)
I explained to the staff what was wrong with my car VE Holden Ute.
Purchased a new Radio unit and was lucky enough for a fitting window to be available due to a cancellation.
The team installed my new radio and hooked up my phone.
Brilliant service and they couldn’t have helped any more if they tried.
Sent me home listening to Led Zeppelin, hooked up my phone on my new stereo.
Perfect!

Absolute legends! Gave us an awesome price for a radio as mine stopped working. Helped us put it in and get the new one working. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Had some equipment installed in my 4x4 in Dec 2014. After failing to complete all the work that was promised, I had to return several times to fix things they had messed up and every time I did was met with a repugnant attitude as if they couldn't believe my audacity for expecting the job to be done correctly. Despite this they were still unable to eliminate a persistent rattle behind the unit that nearly drive me insane driving interstate, at which point another mob fixed in about 10 seconds. Now, a little less then 2 years later the unit refuses to play CDs. Took it back to them and was told I was going to have to drop another $200+ to fix. When I spoke to Pioneer over the phone today they said if it was a manufacturers defect they would replace it for free.

These guys are a rip off, unprofessional, will most likely not do the job properly, and are con artists. Use at your own risk.

NOTE: this review is for the Thomastown store ONLY. In my this far limited interaction with the Keilor Park store I have found the staff to be professional and knowledgeable. If I end up using their business I will provide a separate review on that store.

100% prompt and friendly customer service. Had exactly what we wanted and were able to ship by their last courier at 3pm the day of the initial enquiry. Thanks again for making my husbands day with a new console and arm rests for his landcruiser!

Had Kenwood unit that wouldn't power on, suggested to take it and send it off to get tested, and came back no hiccups. Turned out to be an issue with the car but went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. Will be my only shop for my car audio needs. Big shout out to Nick the help.

Was shopping around for a Central locking security kit installed on my 1965 AP6 Valiant, shopping around i was told a couple of times it couldn’t be done. Or no doubt they did not want to take the extra time to install as it is obviously a custom job…
SSV did not blink at taking my Valiant in to install this system and took the time to make custom parts to convert it to the 1965 door latch. Also took extra time to re-wire the blinking opening/closing lights to the front indicators as it looks better than the Parkers. Installed it very clean and inconspicuous.
This definitely took extra time and love that they took on the challenge for no extra cost to me.

Obviously got my new Bluetooth audio system through SSV too…. Always up for a chat for any advise.
