Squires Loft Nunawading

Booked table at 8.00 & when arrived told to wait. Table at 8.20. Drinks only came at 8.45 & food at 9.15. Disorderly, with no clear management & people crammed in like sardines. Baked potatoes size of bricks & salad untidy with all extras piled on top of lettuce so cant gey lertuce unless you tip out all extras. Rest of meal OK - plenty of other restaurants including Squires Loft in Tooronga where you feel like a valued customer

Rude staff, too busy for anything but the customer. Bar staff who think it's fine to serve a glass of wine from a bottle that's been open for 2 days, becoming indignant when informed it's off by the customer. Steaks and other food does not always need to be covered in 'sauce' sometimes it's good to taste what you're eating.won't be back!

Without doubt, our best place to spend a rainy or sunny afternoon for a few drinks and a feed from the excellent bar menu. Beef skewers are on point, and the Ringbolt cab sav is an absolute delight. Service is always prompt and friendly.

Just make certain you park out the back as it is only one hour timed parking in the front and they WILL give you a $75 ticket for your efforts.

Been coming here since its opening, and have always been very satisfied with the delicious food and friendly staff. Make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment as it fills up fast, which is no surprise!

Quite irritating - been calling over the last few days and never once had anyone pickup the phone. Left a few messages asking for someone to call back, and nothing.
As a repeat customer who has seen staff repeatedly ignore the phone every time I’ve been there, even when it’s quiet.it is unacceptable.
Good food, but I will not return.
Trying to make yourselves look busy or booked out at the expense of loosing customers - great plan!
Pick up the damn phone. It isn’t hard.

There were only a few people in the restaurant, but the waiter insisted that we sit in the centre of the room next to a noisy group. We voted with our feet!

Where do i start? WOW what an amazing place. Service was spot on. Soon as my beer was empty it was full again. Drinks well priced. Food was amazing! A+ from me steaks cooked perfect!

We had a booking for Squires Loft this evening. Unfortunately they were closed due to flood damage and the need for ceiling repair. What Squires Loft didn't do was to notify their customers that they were closed. Not good enough when they have your mobile number and we had booked for a table of 8.

Not too bad overall. Polite and fast service, food and drinks came out quickly. Downside was the amount of plastic used - a straw in each of our water glasses, another two in soft drinks, individually wrapped toothpicks. Food was satisfactory, although other steak places don't routinely baste their meat to make it tasty. Overall it's a casual steak spot - don't expect anything too amazing.

A tremendously low margin for error when producing consistently exceptional products gives this well-renowned steakhouse chain a favourable reputation. The food disrupts the local dining scenes - casual and formal - with ease, and the menu boasts a broad range of meat related products to tantalize ones' taste-buds.

Although some would consider an expensive fare, the price is reasonable for such intimidating portion sizing and execution. The vibe is cool yet casual, and the atmosphere is always a positive addition as the venue is usually a full house. The staff were also abnormally obedient and helpful.

Absolute disgusting service. Have been coming here for years and I’ve had enough. The lady that served us this evening was rude and started pushing us out after 45 minutes. She took the food away before we had even finished and when we asked her why she had the audacity to say “you were 10 minutes late”. After we apologised prior to our seating that we had been caught up in traffic. Poor service every time. This is just a glorified Hogs Breath Cafe.

Unbelievable food. And their sauces are definitely something to experience. Not to mention excellent service. Try the Aged Rib-eye. It is unforgettable. Did I mention the sauces? Worth mentioning twice. Seriously.

Avoid this place if you have baby. We went there today with baby of course she cannot eat a steak so I bring our baby food. But the waitress say we can have our food to eat in the restaurant. She can eat outside off the restaurant pizza party city of the restaurant it’s policy. Also the waitress was very rude so I think if just we go there without a baby the service won’t be good. Ridiculous policy!

This is the ceiling on how good a steak can be! Weather you pay $20 more or $200 more elsewhere, you simply can't beat the squires loft taste! Consistantly perfect steaks time after time, with a unique baste that's to die for! Staff are professional and attentive, and the setting is lovely too! Do yourself a favour and get the eye fillet - prepare to be amazed! This Nunawading branch is by far the best squires loft too!

As always, one of the best places for steak, great service by dedicated team members, and good value for money

These have the yummiest basting on steaks ever. Service is pretty good but you need to make sure you have a booking.

Had dinner with the family on 6th of January, the venue was well presented and service was great. The food however was a different story. We ordered the pork ribs which was very bland and lacked any flavor. The steak was burnt and could have been cooked better. The steak sauce and chips were pretty good though. We have been to many Squires Loft establishments and in terms of quality of food at Nunawading it does not compare, need to really step up their game!

Food is great with a range to suit most carnivores
Service was terrible and had to chase staff on more than one occasion which really should not have happened as the place was only half full. Noticed it wasn't just our table as the one next to us was also neglected.

Consistently awesome! Best garlic cream sauce, HIGH meat quality, great cocktails, friendly and efficient staff.

The staff were really friendly, and we got our food pretty quickly (though it was also pretty quiet at 5: 30 on a weekday). It's a nice place, very modern feeling and spacious, with lots of space to sit down. The char-broiled salmon steak I got was really tasty.
