Squires Loft Nunawading

Foods are fantastic we ordered sausage, chicken salad and two steaks and one of our best meals ever had, no contest. Do recommend to anyone who prefers delicious foods than just eating out.
Staff were friendly and they care about all customers, in our case, Lily. They made our Valentine Day more remarkable by their valuable services.

One of the best places to get a good proper steak. Some of the items are usually a bit too charred such as the pork ribs even when we ask them to have it less charred. Black Angus range is great with creamy garlic sauce.

Squires loft always has excellent steaks but this store has poor acoustic treatment. It's a bit noisy when it's crowded. Still the food is fantastic so who cares that you can't hear the person next to you.

Steak was average at best and chips were terrible. Service also not the best despite not being overly busy (although staff were pleasant and friendly).

Decent food but has probably drifted to more middle of the road and turnover, rather than almost fine dining as it almost was. So, value for money has slipped. Still a nice place though.

Nice place and the service was fantastic. Did feel a bit under the pump to order our meals for some strange reason. It wasn't like we hadn't order a couple of drinks or entrees. Anyway, I had the T-bone that melted in my mouth, one of the best steaks I've had in a while.

The only place we visit when we are after top quality meat. Always cooked perfectly to our liking. Nice espresso martini too.

Our waiter, Oscar was fantastic - very efficient, seemed to care and was very pleasant in general!

Excellant meal, I had the pork ribs and the meat just fell from the bone. It was also good that they had gluten free chips. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Love this place. Busy but even with hearing issues is quiet enough to hold conversations, does a great steak, chips are amazing.
Not really negatives but two things, there isn't a kids menu and you may not get your steak cooked to your liking 100% the first time. Mine was a little over the first time, learned and now order more rare and is perfect. Have seen it happen to others have gone with too. I don't consider it a biggie having now had a few perfect steaks in a row but FYI.

Perfection 99/100. One time a mate got a very grisly rump that he refused to eat - full refund

If you are after nice steak, you can’t go past Squires. I always start with the feta stuffed mushrooms & char grilled corn. All the sauces that come with the steaks are delish, it’s hard to choose between them! Love the baked potato that comes with the steak but you have the option for chips or salad instead. I have never made it to dessert as the entree and mains are just too good! Service is usually pretty good but great Steak is why you go

Your manager is fantastic, and always greats us with a smile. She is also an amazing mixologist and no matter what we order, every drink comes out perfect!

Service excellent, meals delivered promptly and cooked exactly as requested. Nothing to fault. Been several times and never any complaints.

Good service, amazing ribs, nice eye fillet. For a once in a while, more expensive outing i was not disappointed.ok maybe the size of the coke could be bigger.

Food was good. But watch out for the Whitehorse city council if you park for an hour and 2 mins outside to grab your lunch. Prob won’t come back just cause

Nunawading restaurant. Ordered $48 Beef and Reef 200 G Eye Fillet cooked medium served with a Black Tiger Prawn Kebab. $4.90 mushroom sauce. Beef was average found it chewy in some parts and did not enjoy it much. I was most disappointed with the charr grilled prawns that were tough like they were over cooked or frozen before. Chips were ok sauce was ok.
Had $13 house made dessert which was chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream had chunks of ice through it which was unpleasant, cake was ok a little dry, not rich at all so was able to eat the entire piece till the edges which were very dry so I left that.
Oordered 2 coke's $3.80 for a small glass each. Wasn't the worst meal but not great either just ok and a little disappointed, expected way better especially for the price, we ate at the bar service was quick and good. Wouldn't go there again when all that cost me $73.50 food was not worth that money, would have priced that whole meal more close to $50 at most for the quality of food served.

My wife & I have come to this restaraunt at least once a month for the last couple of years and always enjoyed the food and service here.
We have just left from dinner with friends and had the worst experience ever. Regardless of the manager taking our booking from 5: 30-7: 30 she told us at 6: 55 that we had to leave without finishing our dinner.
My wife went to play her the voice message she had left confirming the booking time and she then refused to serve us and was extremely rude, another waitress even apologising for the way she spoke to us.
It's a shame that a brilliant restaraunt has now been mared by a snooty selfish manager thinking she is better than the customer!
I won't be taking my family or friends here again.

To top it off the manager took our change and added to the tip jar without our consent. It wasn't until I went back in after leaving and asked her she pointed at tip jar and turned her back on me.

Don't waste your time or money unless you want to be treated like dirt whilst being ripped off.

Massive dissatisfaction.
