Spotlight Sandown

Extremely rude dark skinned lady at the fabric counter. First of all does it hurt to smile? And when you're addressing some thing to someone u don't need to be so rude about it? Let alone when you pulled out the leaflet of information instead of passing it to me nicely, you tossed it in my face. Spotlight please find better staff or provide some sort of customer training. I've been served by her twice and both time she hasn't failed to throw something at me. The last time was my change.

Worst experience!
My wife went there to buy cushions - the shelf showed sale prices for various items. She took a whole trolly full of various items (scatter cushions, thread, blanket and other things) as the prices were really good.
Got to the till, and it turns out that all the prices were wrong. The shelf said say "50% sale for $7". But at the till shows "$24". The lady behind the till just shrugged at this and said it wasn't her problem.
In the end she just bought the blanket.and it turns out they charged full price of the item in the end anyway!

Really disappointing!

Never anwser phone i have been trying for two days. The problem is they have a product i have ordered and i need the store to hold it till Monday but no one will answer the phone. Terrible service Adelina Camilleri

Fantastic Spotlight store. The staff always go above and beyond to help you with what you are looking for, & if they don't have it they help find it at another store.
Great selection of items in stock, especially fabrics. My fav spotlight store.

Love the 'sales'. Helpful and friendly staff. The place has just had a small renovation so things have been changed around. Seems easier to find things.

Friendly staff and a good range of items. The party section allows you to organise anything you need and they also have a wide range of fabrics available

Very disappointed to have to cut my shopping time short because there are no rest rooms at this store. I will shop elsewhere in future.

We returned 2 items and bought 11 items worth 1.1k at this store, paid at counter inside, were being questioned about the receipt (attached) at checkout counter by two staffs for nearly 10 mins. Both two staffs couldn’t figure out their own receipt and keep questioning us “why there are only 9 items on receipt but we are taking out 11”, feeling like we are stealing two items.
Well it’s quite clear to me who don’t even work there, we bought 11 items, returned 2, doesn’t mean we are taking out 9 items, simple as that.
I would highly recommend management of this store consider provide proper staffs training in maths and customer service.
The lady at inside counter did a good job and was really helpful, however from the two at front counter we wouldn’t return to this store in the future.

I love the place. Going there with my wife, I could see her happiness having to find many of the sewing materials she needed.

The young man from the craft department was very rude, when asked do you keep a certain product he replied no, I don't make it I only sell them. He didn't even bother to look it up for me. AS it happened they do sell it in another section of the store. Not a Very Happy experience. And they do wonder why people shop online!

I get mesmerized each time I step into Spotlight. Got a wide collection of everything a craft person needs at a decent price.

Poor customer experience and expensive surcharges for getting your own balloons for helium blowing. Hopefully no more spotlight.

I felt a bit gay going in here to buy curtains but the feeling was overcome when I noticed other guys in there buying pillows. Friendly staff who aren't prejudiced.
