Good products and good specials.
The disorganised price tags make choosing a bit difficult but they now have 'scan yourself' price check devices. A step in the right direction.

Huge store with plenty of variety but service is poor. The party section is very unreliable. Tonight I went to pick up my balloons. I arrived in to see these hadn’t been filled. I was told by staff they knowingly hadn’t filled them because they weren’t sure if they had been paid for because the paper work hadn’t been recorded properly. Completely understand these things happen but where’s the initiative to pick up the phone and call to check. There was so no sorry and I was made to feel it was my error to resolve. I’ve placed 3 party ordered for balloons in the last 5 weeks and will not be returning for balloons again. Would recommend It'z My Party Super store in Airport West.

The staff there are really helpful and know thier stuff. It always has plenty of variety and gas everything your looking for and more.

Great customer service. Easy to find what you are looking for. Covid safe. Parking very easy to find. Just alot of trafficking going into dfo.

Price tags for many of the things I was interested in were missing, and no staff around to ask, without going all the way to the front counter. Came for cushion inserts but was hoping for more than one option for each size, I guess I will to elsewhere.

Wish I had a zero review because the staff was really rude, they were standing in group chatting, not wanting to serve customers and when I seek for help, I’ve been told off and feeling sad and embarrassed in front of other staff and customers!

I have had 2 suboptimal experiences with the balloon/ party department now.
The first instance I placed a balloon order that was incorrectly filled. It was a small monetary difference so I left it as is.
I returned today, and the helium tank woke up my baby (not the fault of spotlight, but for context), I waited in a long line with a crying baby, took balloons following advice from staff, proceeded to the front checkout to be told I can't pay for them at the front. So given I had a crying baby I needed to leave them behind. Not impressed!

Great place for buying every day home stuff like bed sheets, curtains etc though bit expensive but huge variety.

Very helpful lady at the door checking covid ids.
Assisted me in the location of a few things right on closing time a week before Christmas

You can find everything in this store if you know where to look! It's reasonably priced, always has good sales and staff are very helpful.

Have been twice in the past week, and these were my impressions.

Positives:
- good range of stock
- staff are nice and friendly

Negatives:
- yarn section is a mess. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned up in weeks, with wrong pieces everywhere. Plus there's very little rhyme or reason as to how they've organised the yarns in that area.
- staff seem oblivious to what's going on around them. For example: there were 10 people waiting in the queue, with only 1 person on the register, and they'd been tied up with a difficult customer for a few minutes. So I had to call out to a staff member (who was standing 2 metres away restocking an aisle item) to ask them to help on the registers!
- younger staff have no idea about their stock. For example: I asked where their cotton yarns could be found, and they didn't know what I was talking about, or even that they stocked it!

So I found what I was after, but it took me about 10-15mins of through aisle by aisle, instead of a couple mins if the staff knew where things were kept.

It would be good if they answerd their phone,
Very poor customer service and management
I would not give them the light of day.

Spotlight Essendon, extremely poor Click & Collect service. Ordered on 20 Nov. No email. Rang & no answer. Rang again. Waited on hold 10mins only to have to be transferred again. Lady there said she hadn't even looked at Click & Collect orders due to staff shortage. She placed me on hold for number of mins & came back to tell me the item wasn't in stock even though their system shows it is. Told me she'd cancel my order so I get a refund. It's now hours later, nearly 9pm. No email. No refund. They still have my $72. Logged on. Shows my order is still being processed. Clearly a problem here. Surley something needs to be done. Totally frustrated. This is NOT acceptable.

Reasonably priced items eg craft accessories, quilting and sewing fabrics etc. Craft persons one stop shop. Wide selection of bedding sheets and pillows. Sale now on.

Ordered via click and collect then had to chase up as hadn't heard anything in 24 hours then quote, they said yep we're too busy but if you want you can come and see if we have stock and then bring it to the counter and we'll process it. I personally call that normal shopping, obviously paying for an item that is in stock online doesn't mean you're entitled to it? Think I'll stick to other stores from now on

A lot of variety available here. I was quite happy to to experience this outlet after having repeatedly visited and disappointed by the Roxburgh outlet which is totally useless place to go. Here there were a lot of options in different categories to choose from. Not everything was out of stock!

Thomas and Luke were very helpful this morning, was around the area, and although my order was not ready, I thought I’d call and they helped us out and got our click and collect ready quickly and easily

This is my go to store for most of my sewing needs. The store is always clean and tidy and easy to find what your looking for.especially for my quilt materials.

I helped more customers locate items than staff did. But that wasn't hard as you couldn't find any staff to help anyone.
