Spotlight Carnegie

I bought ready to hang curtains and the tags on the shelf said $66 40% off.time to pay, surprise $66 is the price after the 40%. The actual price was hidden behind the tag. Confusing Spotlight! Read and read it again so you don't think you're getting a bargain when you're actually not!

Great selection of fabric and craft items. Store is one of the neater and tidier Spotlight stores I've been in. It takes a long time to get fabric cut though, staff are normally elsewhere in the store busily helping a handful of customers at the same time or not receptive of a customer asking for help or direction to someone who can help them. Quite a few employees walking around with masks under their chin which is a little worrying. Young staff at entrance are always super friendly and helpful.

Great prices. Found some real bargains with major savings. Sales staff were patient and friendly despite being rushed off their feet

Hit and miss with service. Younger staff who was there, in the store. Not even bothered to take care with properly rolling up what we bought. Older staff who was there to work. More enthusiastic and helpful and with the same product we bought, actually took great care and pride to roll it up properly.

Doesn't always have sticj, check online before going.
Some staff are very rude and others go out of their way to help.

Conveniently placed in a small shopping centre. Access through the lift. Good range of products but hard to find a staff member of you need any information.

Craft supplies galore. After our first visit we have traveled there for more than several occasions.

Big store, great store specific deals, happy and friendly staff, a bit un-organised but great to shop in.

You never come out of this store empty handed.

I needed orange fabric.one of the team were so helpful.i cant remember their name.she had bĺack and green hair.she was awrsome.

The woman who helped me was very polite and she helped me choose the right bedding for my big move from Perth back to Melbourne. There was a sale on too so I saved quite a lot of money.

The staff I interacted with were just so happy to be working there. They genuinely enjoyed talking with their clients. Well done.

Not much of a range of embroidery goods, large party and baking departments, a lot of homewares, linen and curtains. Friendly staff.

More staff needed. The poor guy who helped me (Bailey in haberdashery) was so helpful but so visibly stressed trying to help 4 or 5 different sets of customers. Support Bailey!

Great customer service from Cam who works at the back counter in the curtains/blinds area. Went above and beyond any experience I have had at Spotlight in the past. Rare to experience people who actually care about finding solutions for customers when products aren't available.

Staff were super helpful. They price matched my goods too, so I got an even better price than what I intended on spending.

Always gives wonderful personalised service if you need directions.

I love this Spotlight store. Great parking downstairs and you can even get your car washed and detailed while you shop.

Drove an hour because they actually had what I wanted in stock. Worth it. Thanks box hill spotlight you're terrible. Carnegie is so much better and the staff are actually much nicer. Parking was a bit confusing. Also nice that there's a doughnut shop in the same building as the spotlight. V good vegan doughnuts.

Great location and generally nice staff. But do not bother calling them with a question on stocklist or trust website info. Waste of time.

I needed to purchase material and elastic recently. Staff in the department was rude. Not interested to answer any questions and it was evident that customers are a bother for them.

Really love Spotlight for the fabrics. The fabrics are great and sometimes they have good offer for them however mostly they are so expensive. I really love fashion and crafting so this is a really good place to go shopping

Staff are friendly and helpful. Carnegie customers of all persuasions might be put off by East Malvern psycho-mums complaining about the queue or who was first in line. Nasty people them lot. I wish they would go to Spotlight Box Hill in the East further away from the Dandenong Road divide.
