Spice Club Indian Brasserie reviews
51Overpriced and poor service when they stuffed up our order. Ordered the tandoori prawns ($21.90) as a lock down treat but when we got home we had only been given 6 tiny prawns when it was advertised as 8 large. When we called the restaurant to tell them of the mistake they offered no resolution and had a too bad so sad attitude. Won’t be returning and wouldnt recommend.
Quality indian food. Tried the food for first time and it was way delicious than other Indian restaurants around. Ordered Palak paneer, Butter chicken, Jeera rice, Paneer aloo tikki, Okra, Jeera aloo etc.as i had some friends over for dinner and highly satisfied as it was too fresh. Plus it was very quick and very reasonable price too. I would definitely recommend Spice Club to all those who are craving for indian food.
My husband and I have considered Spice Club in Prahan to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. The curries are very very tasty and full of aroma. The chefs obviously spend time to cook the authentic curry sauces in preparation times. Good curries have the right portion of meat /vegetables blending with the authentic curry sauces. And Spice Club Indian Brassiere curries have hit the right notes every time we order our take away curries. This is from a family that has tried many Indian restaurants. Trust our judgement and give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
Highly recommend for good Indian food in Melbourne. We ordered a variety of food and everything tasted extremely well and fresh.
We did order mango lassi as well. It tasted way better than many other Indian restaurants. Mango? Lassi is a must try here. Super thick.
We didn’t like the music in the background, but the waitress was sweet enough to let us play our own music.
Over all it’s a good restaurant for good Indian food
Management: please please set up a good playlist. Your existing playlist of heartbroken mid 2000s Hindi songs just kills the vibe. (-1)
Second time here and really enjoyed our dinner. Spacious restaurant and the manager Amrith was very helpful.
We had Tandoor mushrooms, onion kulcha naan, pea pulao rice and Paneer mirch curry, the taste was spot on and the price was very reasonable ($41).
Will be visiting again and did see Kingfisher beer available - will be giving it ago.
Rife with fake reviews. If you read through you will see some outright duplicates under different names, eg the 'I order curry at least once a week' review.
Used to be a favourite but now unreliable. Last night was the worst - every dish cold and long long wait. Will go elsewhere now.
Ordered food from uber eats
As usual was prepared for less quantity for the price changed bingo received as i thought
25 aud share platter in Nandos would have been good option
Feels like they are saving on money and food
As usual this restaurant has been very stingy in their quantity
Spice club is really good and tasty restaurant.today i have ordered one curry paneer lavabdar is really good by omkar. I really like so i ask chef’s name.it was actually indian taste so I really enjoyed my dinner.go and try it
Just awful. Had to ask for water, then for glasses, then for menus, then for other drinks. They used some kind of leaf blower to prep something in the kitchen for most of the night and main meals took 2 hours to come out. Avoid this place like the plague. Had to give it one star but that's more than it deserved.
Delicious food and very co-operative staff.
Must visit once and sure you will be fan of the place and food ever
The worst waitress ever; we visited on a Friday evening with a really happy mood however the lady serving us was rude, impolite and she behaved that we were stealing her food and not paying for the food and experience
Food was good and or better than average. But the lady was just so horrible. Worst experience in Australia.
Amazing food! Very friendly staff, and super helpful when it comes to dietary requirements too. The lady helped me with gluten and dairy free options and the meal was absolutely delicious. We will be back here for sure
Superb mains and very well made naan and kulchas. Best place for Indian food in Inner Melbourne area.
Great food, amazing service! Good selection of wines. Must try the chefs special spicy Indian chicken
Second time I have ordered from this place and the delivery has taken over an hour despite being told it will be half an hour. Food cold both times. Avoid if looking for a delivery.
Great food and great service. Lovely girl at the counter and quality of the curry was as good as when I went to New Delhi, some of the best Indian in melb. This place should be packed.
Not nice at all, went with guests and gave us food was not at all eatable
We ordered Paneer Pakoda, they were really gone off, you can smell the food. After complaining, they are blaming on Tandoor. Also Black Dal was not nice, overall not good experience
Think twice before you go there
Awsome food and service. But you guys should have one more person for service outside as it seems to be too much for a single person to takeorders serve food clear dishes and clean the tables and also handle payments. Feel for that lady managing all by her self even in busy times. Hats off to that lady. Rest is all well
Great food and excellent service! Personally not a huge fan of Indian cuisine normally but went for a staff function and everything was fantastic
