Spice Club Indian Brasserie reviews
51 Atmosphere of the place was very nice, the lighting in the restaurant was just right. Not too dim and bright enough to see the food.food was great. Had the pani puri, butter chicken and lamb with rice.
Very nice.
Will recommend it to a friend who's been looking for a nice Indian restaurant in the area.
Was able to find parking in one of the streets off the main road pretty easily.
I’m not an expert on Indian food but it is our go to restaurant for take away. We tried some new dishes last night for a change from butter chicken / tikka massalla, and we absolutely loved it.
Yellow Daal, Tandoori Chicken and Samosa Chaat all really really nice, fresh and good quality.
Highly recommend this place we have never been disappointed
Quite authentic Indian restaurant. Service provided by the waiters and owner was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was a bit dim but still managed to enjoy the food. The butter nun is excellent and crispy however the butter chicken curry was a bit bland and lacking of spices. Overall good service but a bit pricey
Perfect! Sahil has a fantastic restaurant for a meal with friends. Comfortable seating & beautiful food presented nicely too. N loud background music either so you're not competing with it to hear the person next to you.
Will be back!
New owners are absolutely fabulous! Food was stunning! Some of the best Indian food outside of India!
I've ordered from here twice. The first time all five meals were excellent. This week though a $23 curry arrived with 4 small pieces of chicken, very watery, lacking spice and it just didn't taste right.
No dishes were named and no spice levels denoted! Hopeless to try and figure out whose order was whose!
My partner and I had dinner here two nights ago and we both thought this was the BEST Indian food we’ve ever had. I’ve been to India and I thought this was better than anything I’d had there. Everything was so fresh and scrumptious, yum! Will go back again and again. We had mattar paneer (my fav dish and best one I’ve ever had), lamb shimla mirch (partner says it was the best), mango lassis (yummiest and so creamy), naan (fresh and delish), and rice. Amit was very nice as well and made our experience very nice (he gave us papadams and some chutney which we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated). Highly recommend!
Best place to have north Indian food. Must try all the dishes! My permanent favorite is paneer lavabdar from Spice Club:). Thank you Chef!
Great food, good service, amazing flavors only problem is you guys dont serve indian masala tea please put it on menu, otherwise food is delicious
Amit manager was very humble and assisted us throughout. The food was tasty and service was amazing.
Delicious food. Our waitress was polite with a sweet smile. And great value for money. I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!
Very authentic taste and delicious. Rumali roti which is not common in Indian restaurants ws very soft. Naans were also amazing. Must try
Authentic North Indian restaurant in Melbourne, been there several times always walked out happy. Amit takes very good care of customers.
Great food, great service. Couldn’t recommend more. Will be back again for sure!
Thanks
We booked a table really late, but the staff served us with a huge smile and manager (Amit)
Checked on us couple of times even though they were closed.
Beautiful food and amazing customer service.
Must recommend
Ordered the banquet and weren't too happy with the curries. Entrees was superb although the kebab was a bit too salty, but we were not complaining. The mains tho are ridiculously bland and tasteless. Ordered lamb korma and butter chicken, which are nothing like what we expected. Didn't even try the daal as we were so disappointed and couldn't wait to just take the food away and add extra spices in there! Maybe the chef was just having a bad day, but I don't think we'll be coming bad, sadly. Service was good, quick and efficient.
Did a pick up order and when we went to pick up they said we run out of the curry we have ordered and then ordered another one il and it’s just taste like water nothing else very bad customer service the guy on counter didn’t have a clue about the menu worst experience ever
Worst experience ever, we ordered fish and was not even cooked properly and chefs attitude was pathetic
Very bad customer service!
Rude behaviour towards customer!
Asking us to pay the bills, even while we were eating food!
Asking us to leave in a rude way before closing time!
Soggy and pathetic food!
Strongly not recommend this place!
Definitely not going back to this place!
