Sparrow's Philly Cheesesteaks - Fitzroy (at The Catfish)

Tried to get a feed but only 8 tables that were full. Plenty of empty ones up stairs but couldn't use them. Was a shame been looking forward to eating here.

Best Philly cheese steak in Australia and great craft beer. 1st stop every time I'm in Melbourne. 5+ years on and still the best

It doesn’t worth the visit. It was anything but not Philly cheesesteaks! It is about a Minced meat! I don’t recommend you to go at all.

Great atmosphere, awesome beer on tap, always something new and local to drink.

Food is to die for if you enjoy an authentic cheesesteak. The hoagie rolls are so soft and tasty.

Tiny portion, ridiculously expensive, 30 min wait and in the end got the order wrong. $2 for a dot of Mayo on top, you fellas must be having a laugh

Can’t stress enough how trash this place is please stay away, genuinely never felt the need to write a review this bad but my word, this place was horrible.

Great vibe. We had their chilli cheese fries, buffalo wings, and pumpkin pie. They all tasted bloody good. Buffalo sauce could taste even better with some sauce, I'd recommend that. Friendly bartenders.

Waited 40 mins for takeaway. Buffalo wings are good, cheesesteak is bland and dry. The pepper cheesesteak was missing jalapeño, and pizza cheesesteak was missing provolone cheese.

Amazing cheesestake loved the flavour I highly recommend adding tomato sauce to make it complete. I ordered the regular cheesestake. Bit on the expensive side and if there was some complementary fries it would be worth the price. Overall a great experience. Will be back to try out the rest of the menu.

Food has very good flavor, the portion is a bit small for the price.
I waited 50 min for the order and if I wasn't going to ask I would have waited much longer

This place is grand!

I had the Hot Pepper Cheesestake - and let me tell you: It’s amazing! Juicy, perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of cheese.:) Also, the prices are good, I paid 20$ for the Cheesesteak and fries.

The staff is really friendly. They also have a great variety of drinks.

10/10 would recommend. Try it. You wont regret it.

The best Philly Cheesesteak in Melbourne. Just delicious and located inside a very cool bar with a great beer selection and excellent atmosphere. And very good staff.

Been here three weeks in a row. Weeks 1 and 2 were great. Week 3, steak was over cooked, chips were cold and pretzel was way too crispy. Hopefully just an off week.

Absolutely bloody fantastic! A little bit pricey, but I would easily pay it for how damn good it is.

The only place i know of in melbourne that actually do cheesesteaks.got my order wrong one time (out of about 10 orders) but Sam really went out of his way to resolve it. "i'll be back"

Not value for money.rolls half empty these things should be flowing with meat cheese ect.taste was really good but not so generous with portions.

It doesn't hurt that you can get a beer at the catfish right there.

Good quality beef brisket and buns; wasn't too greasy afterwards. Although the loaded fries were a soggy - wouldn't get them again
