Sparrow's Philly Cheesesteaks - Fitzroy (at The Catfish)

I go here way too often! Their Philly cheesesteaks are beyond mouth watering and delicious, never ever had a problem and has become a comfort food.

We ordered the Hot pepper cheesesteaks with double meat and the mushroom cheesesteaks. Hot pepper steak had good spicy flavor. Mushroom steak was creamy. Flavor is real good. Heavy and hearty just like it should be. Good portion size. Bar has a good selection of craft beers. Definitely coming again.

We had a group of us that arrived here for some food and drinks, the bar workers were great talking to us about the different drinks they had, Happy for us to spred around the place and happy for a chat.

Cool pub with delicious Philly sandwiches. The staff is very nice, I find ordering with your cell phone using the QR code annoying.x Data has to be entered before you can send the order

The cheese steaks were tasty however could have more filling. After failing to order via qr code, I ordered at the bar, which was quicker and cheaper. They had a variety of chilli hot sauces which you can try. I ended up buying a bottle, they were so good!

Delicious! Great Philly cheesesteak. Got the mushroom one and the meat was so tender and juicy, mushrooms grilled perfectly and nice and cheesy. Highly recommend

Sparrow's Philly Cheeseteaks has a great environment to catch up with friends over a few beers and some food. There is a good range of cheesesteaks and sides to choose from. We really enjoyed our time together there.

OMG these are delicious! I just tried my first ever Philly cheesesteak from here and I wish I had’ve ordered 10 of them! The whole thing just melted in my mouth. I’ll definitely be coming back here whenever I can. The service was good too.

Don't trust their food trucks. Took over an to make an average size sub. It tasted ok but definitely not worth the wait. At the half an hour mark I asked about the order and was told it would be a few mins. Another 20 mins later and they only just put it on the grill. Definitely not worth the wait! Go somewhere else

We had a good experience with the eccentric on-tap list and a couple of sandwiches, chips and fried curd. Loved the cheeseburger Philly steak but we didn't like the pizza.just tasted like pasta sauce, the meat and cheese flavours were overpowered.

Bit disappointed by food service is via text message. Like any food venue it is noisy and we didn't notice the text, although we were checking regularly, we saw the msg 5 minutes after it was sent and by then all our food was cold.

Little bit disappointing for a cheat night meal. Cheese steak was a bit empty for the price, otherwise tasty though and the boneless chicken at $19 wasn’t edible, overcooked or maybe just old.

Great value cheesesteaks and we got fries added for just $2. Will try and visit again, no provolone on this visit which was disappointing.

Actually had this at welcome to thornbury from the food truck, but it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Got the spicy one with extra jalapeños plus the guys gave me some extra spicy bbq sauce to try! Will come back for more!

Delicious philly cheesesteak. Had the classic from the Sparrow's food truck at Welcome to Thornbury and will definitely come back.

Absolutely Sensational! When ever we’re near this place we can not stay away. Every one of their Philly Cheesesteaks are delicious. Food up back, Catfish bar up front. Live music upstairs! What a place!

This place had all the good vibes, great drinks and outdoor seating. My partner and I loved it.
