Souvlaki GR

I use to like this place but now the quality has gone downhill and not worth the price to be honest (portion size is small?

Asked for tomatoes in my souvlaki, got 1.1 slice! Pita bread cold. Returned it. Got another souvlaki, meat plain, bland as if boiled. Not like it used to be. Quality has gone " down". Not going back.

Average food in a small serve for what you pay.

$19.08 (including the now common sneaky surcharge that isn't added until you tap) for a small souvlaki that isn't anything interesting with a serve of chips and a bottle of water.

For the money spent you've either got to get a small serve of something that is really good, or something large that tastes boring, this doesn't meet either of those, it's average tasting and small, so not good, not bad, more mediocre for the money charged.

I wouldn't go out of my way, but if I was really hungry and it was in front of me I might go back, unless there is an alternative then I might go there instead.

Came in today and got a Lamb souvlaki and saganaki, excellent service, excellent food.
I was served by Alana she was very professional and extremely helpful in helping decide what to order! Much appreciated thanks Alana!

A couple of issues that need to be addressed. Previous owners had the smoky flavour of the lamb spot on, please look at this as this as the lamb is quite bland. Prices are a little high for platters and meals for 2 or 4 people as quantities are somewhat lean. Paying extra for meat on a $50 platter is a little disappointing. Overall, ok but nothing special.

Food was great the meat was just beautiful! And the staff are so lovely. Well priced and great big portions too! Will defiantly be a return customer:)

Tastes and looks like something you would get in Greece, shame about the lamb - grizzly. Maybe the pork and chicken are better

I tried the vegetarian souvlaki which includes dolmades and chips which I was very interested to try. The price was quite reasonable at $8.90 though I was a little disappointed with the size, though to be fair I'm more of a kebab guy so maybe I'm just used to that size. The souvlaki was fine but not amazing. I was also a little concerned by the fact that none of the staff were wearing their masks properly even while preparing food.

When this restaurant first opened up, it was fantastic. Food was great, customer service excellent. Not sure what happened since. But ownership and staff have OBVIOUSLY changed! The last 2 years it has been a bad experience each and every time. The worst experience was ordering food - quite a big order for a group of friends and after waiting 10 mins to be served (ignored), there was no order, nor did they even attempt to make the food etc. They argued about it and then again ignored me until I left. The girl that usually takes orders generally has no idea - she has taken our orders incorrectly each and every time! But this takes the cake. Oh well, spending alot of money per week at this place, have simply decided to spend money at another souvlaki place not too far from there. So an easy solution. However the lack respect and show of dismal education is sad. Since lockdown a few months now.has been harder to buy food and yet we still haven't risked going back there.that says alot.

Smll size gyros but there cost from € 1.80 euro here $11 to $13 over priced charge less people come more.

STAY AWAY DONT EAT HERE.my partner has been hospitalised from these people.the doctors have Confirmed there food was the cause after running multiple tests

Smelled nice the grilling meat but they had no spinach slice. Being around three it was empty. Oh wish for the days of the Greek take away and cafe.

I have eaten a lot of Souvlaki and Kebab in my time, but hands down the Souvlaki at Souvlaki gr is most definitely the most tasty I have ever eaten. There is also a Bitcoin ATM inside for those that need. I don't know what marinade he uses for the meat but it is incredible

They offer 2 good vegetarian souvlaki options. *EDIT* 5 stars down to 1. They consistently use tongs with little bits of meat hanging off them to prepare the vege options. I pointed this out in person the first time (some meat fell into my souvlaki), tried them again and they used meaty tongs again. Didn't go back for a year and tried again in 2019 and still the same. I can see other reviewers made the same complaint. What a shame.

I have eaten many souvlaki in my time but this place has topped them all.

Ew! They used the meaty tongs for the vegetarian souvlaki! Please stop doing this - this is such an awful practice!

Was sent an incomplete order. The staff member I spoke to was defensive and unwilling to try and rectify the situation.

I left leaving the place disappointed. The souvlaki was tiny. The filling was close to none and shame on putting french fries instead of freshly cut potato wedges. I’ve had traditional souvlaki and what they were serving was off the mark. You guys need to step up the game.
