Souvlaki GR

I used to be a big fan of Souvlaki GR, then one day I ordered a chicken souvlaki which made me violently ill. I tried to contact Souvlaki GR numerous times via numerous contact means with no success, then when they eventually contacted me I was offered a refund for the cost of the souvlaki which after chasing up for a month I have still not received. Tremendously poor customer service. An okay souvlaki if you don't mind a side of food poisoning.

We were served cold chips which were sitting in the bay Marie and had to ask
for fresh chips. Ordered a lamb souvlaki and the meat came out way over cooked like charcoal, hard and tasteless. Terrible food, it’s a shame they call themselves Greek and they serve up souvlakia like that. Never again, please take some pride in your food!

Just ate here and am really disappointed. Whomever made our food obviously dropped the meat in the charcoal and still served it to us anyway because as we’re chewing it’s gritty and crunchy like eating sand.
Your staff keep doing that and you won’t have a business. Won’t risk coming here again, especially with so many other Greek places around. Keep your cash and your teeth!

They no loner make pork gyros! So, they should change their name from Souvlaki GR to "Souvlaki TR" or "Souvlaki AU". Authentic Greek gyros is with pork, turks make them with smelly and fatty mutton/lamb.
Their pork gyros was pretty good and one of the very few places north of the Yarra where was available. Also, overpriced compared to what you get in Greece.
They have lost my business.

The sign doesn’t lie. Super tasty and filling. The staff are always nice whenever I go in.

I thought this is a GREEK restaurant. I went in on Friday 29th and there were many Indians working. No offence but what, are Indians doing running a Greek restaurant. Not the same thing. Luckily they were efficient in their work but not the same thing.

Very slow service.
Forgot one of our items, so we basically ate separately, after explaining again, that we ordered two souvlaki.
Food was ok.though something didn't quite agree with either of us.
Well priced.

Ordered a delivery and paid $120 only to have half the delivery missing. Called and staff expected me to go in the store to perhaps get a refund or pick up the rest of my order. Had I been able to go in the store I would not have made an Uber delivery. Apart from half the food missing, the food we got was cold and the meat was dry. Would not order again

Worst service in all of melb.overpriced, small and not to mention had to wait over half an hour for my order and then they tried filling my order with meat that had been sitting off the side in a container from the time that I arrived.and after all that the order was still wrong! Stay as far away from. This hole as possible, if I could give no stars It would still be too many

Staff don’t know how to deal with customer, Mannerless. Why am not seeing 0 star i would love to give 0 start instead of 1.

They call it a souvlaki but Id call it a salad wrap. After literally 2 bites the meat was gone and 2 thirds left was just salad and soggy pita. Wont be back!

Ordered a mixed grill for 2. $49
Very dissapointing. All we got was a tray full of chips & tiniest amount of meat scraps on top of chips.
We rang store to speak to manager who told us that we were being unrealistic & that was the right portion.
No customer service skills.
No resolution provided.
If i wanted a tray of chips I wldve gone to fishnchip shop.

We then went to station Street fairfield to another Greek souvlaki shop got a massive tray full of meat $24.

The food was terrible, the owner was rude, and the prices were too high, go literally anywhere else for a better experience

Amazing meals both chicken and lamb, clean condition.
I really recommend for everyone.

Use used to be good when U had the one older skinhead bloke working now U got 4 kids behind the counter that are shocking 15 min for one souvlaki use have gone downhill badly wont be coming anymore sorry to say

Terrible souvlaki don’t waste your time or money. The chicken souvlaki was like a roasted chicken had been pulled apart. Disgusting. Won’t be going back there. If I could give it no star I would.

Very disappointed no words things have changed service non existence getting too busy now and they don't care it seems but things can change very rapidly.and finally the food very poor platter for 2? Maybe you should go around and see what they serve in it we sat on the table and they gave us the food in a bag

I've been to gr many times before without a problem, but today was absolutely pathetic, i ordered a lamb souvlaki expecting the usual, and ended up paying $15 for half the size of a normal souvlaki no bigger than my pinkie and to add insult to injury it was tasteless, no salt no anything, i really hope they can fix this issue.

Super slow and not really worth the wait in my opinion.
Paid nearly $40 for 2 souvlaki (including a 20% public holiday surcharge) then waited more than half an hour. When the food finally came, it was pretty disappointing. I'd need to be pretty wasted to come back here again.
