Souvlaki GR

Paid $70 for a meal for 2.literally 3/4 was chips. There wasn't enough meat for both of us, and a tbsp of dip. Literally the worst value for money. $70! You're joking

I have been there a few times, however the last 2 visits have left me very disappointed. Staff are great, however the meat portions in the meals were disappointing. The souvlaki was packed with chips and the meat was barely noticeable. The open packs at $22 were mostly filled with chips a small salad made up of mainly lettuce to fill up the container. Finished off with a single layer of meat, no more than 3 forks worth. Dry and tastless. Spent over $ 70 for food with little value. Left quite disappointed with the amount paid and the quantity and quality of the food.

Overall, it was an average experience. Their souvlaki size was very reasonable but I feel that the meat portions were quite small. The pork in the pork souvlaki lacked consistency. Some were cooked nicely while some were dry. The Calamari souvlaki was nice but there was too little calamari.
I did enjoy their club sandwich although it was on the saltier side. Definitely a great portion for the price.
Their fried zucchini was alright. I wish it was crispy, that would’ve made a perfect snack side!

Food tasted amazing, not oily like other places and very neatly presented. Only downfall is portion is too small for its price.

The souvlaki here was super delicious, flavourful and generously packed with meat and chips. I love their Pita bread, it was super soft and fluffy! The side chips was crispy and seasoned to perfection

The lamb souvlaki was delicious and good value. The meat box (we tried chicken) was ok and a little pricey for the small box.
Food came out pretty quickly which was great.

Food is good but the wait time is ridiculous. 45+ mins for a takeaway that is 85% assembly is a bit of a joke, especially with 6/7 staff on deck

My mother and I came here and it was great! The vibe and music was awesome and the staff incredibly nice! We got their mixed lambs mad chicken snack pack with tzatziki and sweet chilli sauce and it was delicious our favourite item from the menu for sure! As well as their authentic Greek lamb souvlaki that was so filling! We also got the gyro pack as a takeaway to bring home and it was very well packed and was also really yum! We were so impressed with the food and enjoyed ourselves!

The website says it's open until 10 pm
Saturday night, 9.36 pm was turned away by lazy young man who couldn't be bothered making me a souvlaki.
Plenty of food there.

Very unprofessional as they don't value their partner delivery driver's time, and neither tell them correct wait time one old man their said 4 minutes and after 5 minutes the young one said more 10.
Value others time whoever they are because each and every person is important for your business's goodwill which you r destroying really well.

None of the three young people working here wear their mask properly over their mouth and nose and even take it completely off to talk to each other. Someone ate some of the order she was preparing. I wouldn't come back as don't feel they care for hygiene

Hi ordered a delivery from your Thornbury store and was really not impressed with food at all, really bad value for money.
I sent a messenger complaint, filled out the form on the website and then emailed but have had zero response via every method.
Our order last week was really expensive considering portion sizes and food quality, the food arrived stone cold not helped by the fact that our 2 cold drinks had been laid flat on top of everything hot inside the paper bag (we had to microwave everything).
The zucchini (which we ordered with tzatziki and arrived without it) was a few limp, thin, greasy slices. The Greek salad was all iceberg lettuce and about 2 slices each of cucumber and tomato, 3 cheap tiny olives. I ordered a vegetarian souvlaki which was nothing but a sprinkle of feta, and a few chips with mustard in some bread. The saganaki was ridiculously expensive for two cardboard like thin slivers. My partner said the only ok thing was the 2 grilled chicken sticks they ordered. At $65 we were not happy, so expensive considering the portion sizes and quality.
Wouldn’t re-order from any of your store locations ever again due to this experience. I am also really disappointed that my complaints have been completely ignored by your team.
Surely some acknowledgment should have been made, really terrible customer service.

They are wonderful. Did a pick up 6: 30pm, they were super busy but kept things organised and flowing. Food was still great. They are a good local to have

Just ate the chicken souvlaki and chips and it was delicious, fresh and the service was super friendly! Tbh I was sorta worried after reading some reviews but I think those are completely wrong and unfair (the bad reviews seem out of anger/harsh/exaggerated and not objective). The pita was soft and authentic and the chicken was tender, really great overall!

Ordered through uber eats, asked for cutlery no cutlery was provided. I asked for a 500ml drink, I recieved a 250ml drink. Spent 71 dollars for family meal for 2 and was only enough for 1 person.

Unclear pricing practice.

Vegan is listed as $11.9, then it is $2 extra for vegan bread. So figure. Then it is surcharged for card. Soooo $14.2. Also, the portion is small. Something like a snack. Quality of food is good and fresh. Just don’t find it to be value friendly or open about pricing.

The old guy working on Sunday night has a bad attitude. "Could be an hour, could be 3, could be tomorrow, tell them we have gone vegan! " was what he said when they ran out of lamb. Very unprofessional. Won't be going back.

Waited 1 hour for a cold average souvlaki with two chips. Shop was empty but it still took them 1 hour to make a single souvlaki. Would not recommend. Staff look like they didn't care.

Waited 45 minutes for 3 souvlakia all while the staff were walking around aimlessly looking depressed to be at work. The meat was pretty cold and not many chips were in the pita, and the chips that were there were soggy and not nice. It was a good resturant at the start but now it has become pretty average. Seems like I’m going to become a regular at Cypriot souvlaki house from now on!

Nice enough but portion sizes are extremely small for the price, very disappointed and still hungry.
