I've heard a lot of good things about this place so my partner and I decided to try it out. Admittedly it was fairly busy but we literally stood there for at least 5 minutes without any acknowledgement or reception from the many staff.

I work in hospitality myself and have done for many years and I understand when you are really busy but the Golden Rule is always acknowledge the patrons, they literally keep you in business!

Suffice to say we just left but the food on the plates on the way out looked good.

Nice selection of seating available. Nice couch area with fireplace looks inviting for a cold winters day. Shaded open courtyard seating feels lovely and cosy. Good was yummy, though, the sourdough was a bit dry. Really accommodating for people with children as they have high chairs and readily cater to alterations to menu items. Coffee was nice and service was friendly and efficient. Will visit again.

We were here 20.02.22. Ordered food 11: 30am. No food 12: 30pm. Notified 12: 35pm because we asked. Reason: they’ve had a huge group of people come in. Solution: notify customers. Patiently waiting 1 hour is unacceptable and ruins people’s day. Thank you and I hope you guys resolve this issue.

Bad service ever.

I ordered through phone and wanted to pick up for twice. They were rude!

The first time I ordered a pick up and we ordered 5 coffee. They missed one.

The second time was one steak sandwich and one coffee but turned out they gave me two sandwiches and forced me to pay.

I said “I will get THE steak sandwich over phone but the waitress insisted that I said two steak sandwiches on the phone. She was pretty rude…. And I was in a rush so I didn’t want to argue….

Really friendly staff. Great coffee and possibly the best menu in Collingwood. Big call but try it! Also great cakes. Flourless orange cake is a winner!

Had reserved 8+ people, all food came out at the same time, lovely service. Paid for a menu item + additional hash brown which i didn't receive but paid for.

1) The salmon skin is crispy. BUT i can taste it is frozen salmon and not fresh at all.

2) I do understand potato salad is cold. But I cannot understand why some of the cubes are cold while the others are warm. Or for single cube, the half is cold while the other half is warm.

3) the Beans tastes like frozen as well.

Best cafe in the inner north, period! Service is absolutely amazing, genuine and the staff are super lovely. I have come for breakfast 4-5 times now and it never lets down, the chorizo is absolutely insane!

Terrible coffee, please change your supplier, cheap or expensive is not always best, it has to do with the taste.

Drinks never came. We ordered drinks with our food, asked twice about them after the food came as we could see the bar staff weren’t doing anything and when we cancelled them after we finished eating we were told ‘but they are coming now. ’ really?

Great great spot. Good is always spot on, coffee is terrific and lovely and cosy in winter (especially if you grab a spot by the fire). Amazing staff.

Amazing atmosphere inside with lovely food! Ordered zucchini fritters and smashed avo toast, everything was very delicious! Highly recommend to visit!

Every now and the we tumble into a nice place and this is exceptional. That fire place just what you needed to warm the Melbourne cold and that cup of chai is just the thing soothe your soul.

Found this place looking for pancakes (hard to find actual pancakes these days) very delicious and fluffy. I really enjoyed this place, there was no wait and it was very spacious. Prices reasonable, considering I purchased 3 meals and 2 drinks. Lots of free parking around, going back to try the French toast, highly recommend!

A friend told me to check out South if I wanted to have a good coffee. I only dropped in to rest my feet and have a quick pick me up coffee, so I cannot comment on the meals.

My long black was great. Nice layer of crema covering the surface with a rich full-bodied taste that was also smooth, with the right hint of slight bitter after taste.

The staff was super friendly and charming.

Amazing food (had the risotto) but the coffee was a bit average. Friendly staff. Very busy but they managed to seat us fairly quickly.
