Sofia Restaurant Camberwell

We had ordered pizza, through the website and when we reach there to pick up, the shop was closed. We have to order from dominoes.

Only restaurant I know of that means it when they say large on the menu! Awesome service too and the quality matches the quantity.

What a beautiful and sincerely run business. Thank you for being a rare gem. Your kindness, delicious and heart filled food is most appreciated.

Sofia's is a great place for a good value meal. We picked up a small pizza which was generously topped meat cheese and olives. We came because my son has such good memories of this place over the last ten or twelve years.

The restaurant suitable for family. Large size meal.
You can make plans.morning eat Laurent breakfast and shopping Sunday market after Sofia restaurant have lunch.

Pizza and pasta are value for money. Very generous servings.

Flavour wise, pizza was good for the price, pasta was so so.

Customer service is top notch, food is amazing and the ambience and staff make you feel so welcome.
Cannot speak high enough of the experience and it does not cost an arm or a leg either!

Absolutely loved it. Went with my friend, had booked seats before. The place is mostly crowded. Awesome food. Please try garlic cheesy bread. Loved the atmosphere and the service.

TERRIBLE customer services. They don’t even apologise after making a mistake by making the wrong food. Very bad experience!

Sofias camberwell is a long time favourite, very generous servings reasonable price and good service. All the traditional comfort food you could ask for.

Big, comfortable space. HUGE servings, most customers take their leftovers. Quality is generally good, nothing fancy, prices very reasonable. Def a gulp n blow proposition.

Sofia's is a favourite of my family however it really isn't all that good.
The food is average at best. Some dishes are just terrible but others can make up for it.
If you are ever staying for desert order the large gelati! You won't be disappointed

This place has a lovely vibe, reasonable price, great choice for families with kids. And for muslims, it's halal certified:)

Very disappointed with service and quality of food. Initially the waiter that came to our table was very helpful with our concerns re our allergies and offered alternatives and suggestions, so very commendable. We ordered gf pizza which was very dry because had been way overcooked and tasted like cardboard. The carbonara was not creamy but also very dry and bland. The lattes were with plain milk, lukewarm and no coffee flavour. They were not that busy yet we waited over 20 mins for our food that was not worthy of the upmarket location of Burke Rd Campberwell. Nobody even asked us if we were happy with our meals which is the least they can do.

Outstanding value for money, great Italian food in large servings. Service is excellent and personal, and also very quick. Highly recommend for any size group. Yet to be disappointed by Sofias!

The staff are very friendly and came by a few times to check on us, and see if we needed anything. Once we ordered our food it came very quickly and was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and authentic. Their dining area is very large so Im sure they can accomodate large functions/bookings.

Wonderful food very tasty we had the seafood pizza, seafood platter and the seafood carbonara all great dishes we will be going back there next time we are in the area.

I tried Sofia 5yrs and 3yrs ago, everything was very nice. Also this time it didn't disappointed me.
Huge portion no matter Pasta or Gelato. All of us had a very enjoyable meal and so full. Really recommend for family.
Can't believe that we could have a such big seafood platter for less than $30 in Australia.
I definitely will come back when next time I travel to Melbourne.

Very disappointed about ordering pizza capricciosa (large one). Base was dry and topping without taste.
Everyone else in the restoran was eating pasta, and my opinion is "they definitely know how testing the pizza:) "

BIG food portions but very bland food. Couldn't finish it and couldn't let myself take home the leftovers. Spaghetti Marinara.only prawns as seafood.where are the muscles and other ingredients? FETTUCCINE AVOCADO was too bland.too thick.avocado made it mushy.no flavour. Only came here as it was one of the restaurants with an earlier opening time. Staff were friendly.
