Please observe your female employee with the really short dark hair scooping ice creams. Literally just watched 2 people refund their ice creams and I should have refunded both of mine too. Never coming back here for icecream for my little one ever again.
Great prices. Big portions. Fresh seafood. Great family dinner place after an afternoon at the beach.
The food was amazing in freshness, preparation and presentation.
We had so many great dishes that i can't review any one.
The ambiance and service was the best I've experienced in 3 months of living in Melbourne- Kudos to the chefs.
Good restaurant with reasonable prices, BYO wine and excellent waiting staff. Would certainly go back for good pizza
Went there on a friend's recommendation. Menu was huge, so we tried a few things from each category.
I tried Barramundi Fillet, it was crisp from outside and full of tenderness and flavour inside (melted in my mouth).
To share we had Bruschetta, Mornay Oysters and Tandoori Pizza.
Everything was done authentically and complimented the wonderful views of the sea.
Considering how busy it was, staff was professional and service was quick too.
Highly recommend it:)
Perfect for good sunset dinners
Fresh food, well priced for huge meals. Could be hotter on pick up though Seafood is always a little cold but otherwise great place
The restaurant offers a informal and cosy environment. The food is well prepare and the portions are pleasing. Good service and helpful meet your diet requirements.
Was told there was extra dollar surcharge for each of our coffees because we brought keep cups. Asked why it would cost more to use less and was told “That’s just the way it is”. Backwards. A colleague decided to get a coffee anyway and the milk was burnt. Penalising customers for bringing reusable cups purely for profit is atrocious.
Food is good, value for money however the service is pretty bad, had to get our own glasses and water 4 times, all the meals came out except one, mine, so I was sitting waiting almost 10 minutes while everyone else was eating, we had to ask for the table to be cleared so we could have a birthday cake, food 8/10 service 3/10.
Wedges are nice
Carbonara is okay
Baby snapper came out as a whole fish riddled with bones, should really be a fillet #lazy
The establishment had gone down hill. Bad food, dirty tables.i can just go on and on.never am going there again.
Great location, good food inexpensive for total experience.very good place to take visitors who have not been there
Food was great worth the $$ the only downside was the wait not enough staff for the amount of customers and lining up outside cause it was full on inside
Thursday's Steak - big serving just the noise is a bit enclosed inside that you feel odd silence when you stepped outside.
We have been coming to Sofia for years. There has been a lot of improvement over the years. I usully have baramandi which never dissapoints while my husband has the steak which might vary in size but definately tasty.
Have to mention the two stand out people as it took me a while to find out their names. Jack and Gemma as they are truly two young people who are not only beautiful and friendly but enjoy their jobs too. Well done guys!
Wonderful food, great fast friendly service and the best views of the beach while you eat aslo very generous servings with great value for money. And you can take away what you can't manage. Always a treat to eat there!
Had steak and ribs with chips. Ribs were amazing, steak however was terrible. Definitely having just ribs next time.
The taste of their so called “aussie scoop” ice cream shop couldn't even compete with Mcdonalds and one of their staff was so rude, just serve the people jump in the queue and ignore me.
Turned up looking to eat outside however was closed for unknown reason. Very busy inside so extremely noisy making conversation with friends tricky. Food okay but good service. Ice cream was good. Great location for an after dinner walk though. Recommended.
Food was really good with more than large enough portions that we couldn't even finish our meal.
Only downside was as the establishment has an open area, there was a bird wandering around trying to pick up any crumbs on the floor.
More of an entertainment value than a negative to the venue as it's not their fault.
