Easily one of, if not, the best chicken and chip joints in Melbourne. Great food, friendly staff and a very generous serving for the price. I've been coming here roughly once a week for the last year and they are very consistent in their quality. Highly recommended.

We are now doing our third event catering with Smokey Chooks and it honestly wouldn't be Christmas without them. They have both relived us of all the stress of putting things together but also the quality remains outstanding each time and we have now created a tradition with them. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection and even our most fussiest guests are pleased. You'll see many of your usual stuffy classic dishes lovelingly made, bringing life back to even the most simple scalloped potatoes. Also we ponder regularly, why we are so obsessed with the roast vegeatble here, what have they done to make them so good? Chickens of course are succulent and tender and there is never a scrap left when we are done. This small buisness is simply superb, friendly and thoughtful. Highly recomend.

Beautiful team and beautiful chicken! Some of the best chips you can get around Melbourne. Amazing scalloped potato’s as well as fantastic coleslaw. Furthermore, more than reasonable prices for what you get. Couldn’t recommend enough!
