Another lovely evening spent at our favourite Melbourne wine bar. Graham is a great host serving up delicious food and interesting locally produced wine. Can't wait to go back.

A few of us called in to Smithward last evening and had a wonderful, relaxing time over a couple of glasses of wine, excellent 'nibbles' and a good gossip. Graham was a knowledgeable and helpful host who obviously took a great deal of pride in selecting and presenting his wine and food. A great place to visit.

Everything was amazing from the moment we came in till we had to sadly leave. The food and cheese was great, the wine selection was immaculate and the raclette was outstanding. Thank you for having us

Hands down my favourite wine bar anywhere! A super special spot, with the most delicious snacks, which also heroes fantastic local Victorian wine.

Highly recommend this place for a lovely date or catch up with friends. The food is so unique and delicious, the home made bread is spectacular. Also the wine list is local and wonderful, definitely try the Box Grove Prosecco <3

My new favorite place in Smith st. Can’t find a single thing that I don’t like. Raclette cheese with potatoes is perfect, bread is always delicious, charcuterie is impeccable and fresh, wine selection amazing and the owner’s service is a delight. Want to bring all my beloved ones here.

There is a women waitress there with short hair who is the rudest person ever as no sort of customer service skills. Would never go back there again

Fantastic local place for Victorian wines and delicious bites. Now that I have found this little gem, I’ll be coming weekly. Graham does a wonderful job… and is so knowledgeable about the products he sells and represents. Come down and show Smithward the love it deserves!

Smithward is the place we keep coming back to - Victorian wines, the best bar snacks made in house and the cosy ambience.

Smithward is what my husband and I call heaven on earth. This is a place where you feel being taken care of, the food is absolutely delicious and you can see and taste that is made by Graham’s hands. He does such an amazing job in curating and crafting the perfect bistro. But even though is a very homey experience at the same time the menu and the food are sophisticated and impressive. I can’t explain how much I love this place. You just have to go and experiment it’s magic yourself.
