Was promised European bluestone. Veitnemese Bluestone arrived 5 weeks
later after being told 2-3 weeks.
Inbetween that no communication or order updates what so ever.
Probably one of the worst order/customer service to date I have had
Product looks nothing like whats on there website.
No dramas.

Price is Good. Quality is Good if you check every stone/ Pavers. After Sales service is worst.

I bought 10 pieces recently. But I check them when arrived at home. 4 of them had broken top surfaces and off white Color compared to other 6. So I requested to replace with matching stone. However, They said they can not replace it.

Terrible customer service. I placed an order late Jan and am still waiting for it in June. The manager has not contacted me to apologise or offer a discount. I will cancel my order and ask for my deposit to be refunded if I do not hear from anybody by Wednesday.

When are you guys going to move into larger premises? It’s a complete shambles down there at your Doveton store. Youve got stock from ear to ar#ehole and it’s always a complete debacle to pick anything up. Your warehouse guys do a great job in the difficult conditions but inevitably you’re going to have an accident and someone will be seriously injured. Last Sat you had customers standing all over the front drive, trucks being unloaded and loaded, forklifts running around, and stock jammed in every available spot. Move to somewhere bigger!

Terrible terrible people to deal with. This Steve Taylor guy is incompetent. We went in late September and asked them to come and quote a job. Waited 2 weeks without hearing from him. Followed up and after 2 false starts he comes out to quote. This now 3 weeks. Wait for him to provide us with the quote.another 2 weeks. It’s now mid November. We agree to proceed with quote. Due to start 29th November. He never shows. We follow up numerous times with no reply. It’s now mid December, we assume the job isn’t proceeding but this Steve guy doesn’t have the courtesy to contact us. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Terrible, 3rd grade stone straight of china. This is a picture of what we received that was supposed to be the 'premium' grade Harkaway bluestone. Their website warns people to be wary of cheap chinese bluestone and this is exactly what they will send you. 1000s of 8-10mm holes all over the stone. Not cats paw but literally holes. We were told we needed to grout with charcoal grout to fill these holes. Bad luck if we wanted to use a light grout. What you see on their website and what you will receive arent even close. DONT BE FOOLED!

I dont usually write reviews but Im very impressed with the service I had at Stone discounts. Even though they are interstate, they looked after me with free samples and spent time explaining how to lay my stone and the pros and cons. I did not expect this service as well as the low prices.

Huge thank you to the warehouse guys at Stone slate discounts for loading all the bluestone into my dad’s truck. Your team has been extremely supportive and helpful with our backyard upgrade. Like they say best prices in Australia. Cannot recommend highly enough.

After having a bad experience with a tile shop I was happy to find Stone & Slate Discounts. I dealt with Steve who shared his knowledge about and was not trying to flog stuff off to me like other places. Even though we’re in nsw it was definitely worth the drive to doveton for the service and quality of the products we got. Thanks - we will be back

I was concerned (being in Syd) how buying stone pavers from you guys would go down. But I was impressed with the service you guys gave me including the free samples and online showroom which gave me the confidence to trust you. Also- huge thanks for giving me delivery options to help me save money. Your prices were so good, they beat the other local quotes I got – even with the delivery! Looking forward to getting some stack stone next.

I gave Steve my house plans and he figured out the best location for my tiles in my patio as well as how to do the pool. He took the time to calculate everything so it is perfect including matching the colours to my house. Steve's attention to detail and care was more than I could have expected as a service from any tile shop. All the other places were just pushing me to buy but at Stone & Slate Discounts I instantly felt comfortable and confident. Looking forward to seeing the end result next week.

After being fed up with local stores my husband and i looked at Stone discounts. We were a bit worried about buying from interstate but Brooke made me feel instantly at ease with her helpful advice. Certainly was not pushy and annoyign like everywhere else. We loved the free samples too! The travertine tiles are now laid and we couldnt be happier! Great service

Sheridan’s eye for detail and forthright approach was much appreciated. She made the whole process easy liaising directly with my landscaper to ensure everything was available when it was required. She went above and beyond to ensure delivery was as cost effective as possible by giving me multiple option for getting the travertine to my place in Burleigh Heads. Much appreciated. Went to get some paving ideas around my pool. Spoke to Steve and Annie who were more than helpful with samples and giving great suggestions not only in terms of the stone tiles but also installation and how to maintain them. I recommend Stone and Slate Discounts for great quality products as well as helpful advice. Was definitely worth driving down from Pascoe Vale.

Fantastic experience dealing with Annie and Dave at the Stone & Slate discounts, Doveton. The provided some really good advice, organised prompt delivery of our travertine stones, answered all questions very patiently, priced it competitively as well as organised replacement at no cost when a few of the tiles broke on the way to my home. Highly recommend them and will definitely go back again if the need arise.
