A fan of Singh’s reporting here. Good atmosphere at the shop front. Tasty food at a tasty price point, and free rice w/ yr meal makes for a well treated customer.

On one occasion waiting for a meal, a woman in a frenzied state said she was here to collect an order of hot dogs. The clerk kindly informed her that they do not make hot dogs.

Singh’s may not do hot dogs, but they make a mean curry.

Really friendly service. Place has been open for decades, although not the greatest Indian restaurant around, it certainly ticks a lot of boxes! It’s so reasonable price wise, their lunch special for $8.95 is a complete bargain, you can choose any curry with half rice. Other highlights are their great samosa, Raita, tandoori chicken legs, and papadam. You can easily feed 2 people for $25 with leftovers for lunch.

I was craving for indian food and good thing we have one of the best Indian food take away near us. It's always busy everytime we order and if you do walk-in you might wait around 15 to 20 minutes which is ok for me cause I know it's worth it. They're very nice too, I'm happy to keep coming back everytime I want something meat curry.

Always a winner for me with the tandoori drumsticks and garlic naan since the late 90's, excellent value, love theyre mango chutney, the hotter the better

Incredible butter chicken! Tasty, not too oily and perfect flavour balance. Very reasonable servings and good quality! Must have with garlic butter naan too.

We are long time fans of the food from Singh’s, it’s a beautiful array of authentic Classic Indian Cuisine. A full menu of takeaway food is made fresh on-site to be enjoyed wherever you want to take it. The prices are extremely reasonable because there’s no eat in option.

Lamb rogan josh is fall apart in your mouth tender, and the chicken is cooked perfectly tender. I'd go back again for sure!

Food was delicious! Options are wonderful and service was great. They ask you pay in cash where possible but also have card services available.

Came recommended, was worth the trip from Fitzroy to collect. Huge naan breads and generous portions, plus rice included free.

Have ordered in from this place for about 5 years as the food is usually great.
Decided to order direct through their website to cut out the delivery services and try and support a local business.

Ordering process was fine, but no eta was provided so I called up to confirm and was told 15-20 mins. They seemed suprised that anyone was using their website.

I arrived at the store after 20mins and was told it's a a couple of minutes away. I waited and waited, within eye sight of the server as others came, ordered and took their meals. After another half an hour I asked again and was told to get the raita from the fridge myself. While my back was turned, the meal suddenly appeared from the hot box.

It was very obvious what happened, but there was no acknowledgement of this, just a "we're busy" as the server laughed in my face.

All up, just under an hour for my solo, standard beef vindaloo and a very disappointing ordering experience.
The food was tasty, a little small, but if i do order again it won't be direct. More inclined to go elsewhere though out of principal now.

Considering how great the reviews are I decided to order and was disappointed, considering it took 77 minutes to arrive I was expecting a decent meal.
The naan bread was like a loaf of dough you could buy at coles with no seasoning. The butter chicken was average, not unpleasant but certainly not worthy of the amount I paid for it. I also ordered roti bread which was under seasoned and basically burnt whole meal bread. I’m definitely never ordering from here again.

Incredible food, absolutely love the naan and butter chicken and the prices are great too. Never been disappointed here, and the staff are so nice everytime we come to pick up. Wouldn't get Indian food from anywhere else in Brunswick.

Brilliant Indian takeaway, originally recommended by a friend. Hydrabadji chicken curry is a fave, as is sabji badji (vegies) and the makhana dahl is pretty great. Lately my daughter started loving the tandoori drumsticks and the other one loves the paratha (roti/bread). We've lost count of how're many times we've made the trek up to Brunseick, luckily it's still within the 5km zone and always worth it. Serves are generous, usually enough for lunch.

Good quality, tasty indian cuisine at reaaonable prices. Hot fish curry was the stand out for me, slurp.

I stumbled across this place on Deliveroo and decided to ring and place an order thrn go down and pick it up like it's the 1990s. Don't ask me why, I was feeling nostalgic.

I'm glad I did. This place looks like a seedy hole in a wall from the outside. Anybody who knows good food knows that this means the food is likely to be incredible.

Singh's doesn't disappoint. Great food, fast service, amazing tandoor breads, probably the best takeaway biryani in Melbourne. If you ask for your food hot and spicy, they will make it so hot you will sweat - this is perfect, and a rare treat for anyone who actually a chilli fan. You'll need that raita.

Ordered around 5 different curries from here for a big group. The delivery was 10 mins earlier than expected and the food arrived hot. The curries were all delicious. Heaps of vegetarian options too. The Saag Paneer is insanely good!

I used to get dinner here weekly 18 or so years ago. Moved away but had a chance to pickup an old favourite this evening. Almost never happens but was as good as I remembered.
Call in here for the delicious naan bread if nothing else.

Great price for great Indian food. Local institution round this area. Staff are super friendly and helpful and I'm always stuffed full after eating. Great value.

Love their curries. It’s delicious and authentic and I truly appreciate the generous amount of rice given. Friendly service with a smile always and they give papadam to the kids. Keep up the good curries!
