Came from the hospital. Driver was understanding and didnt make the ride bumpy. Very welcoming and friendly.

Having had a few misses with Uber we decided to go back to booking a Taxi. We booked online the night before and the process was quick and simple. Harry our driver arrived a little earlier than we requested which eased our stress compared to our last airport uber horror experience. The vehicle was immaculately clean and his driving style was smooth and safe. We made it to the airport without hassle and with plenty of time to spare. Harry was super professional and friendly and is a wonderful ambassador for Silver Top. Great experience thank you)

My ride was given to a driver who then rang me up asking where I was going when I told him he said he was too far a way, he didn't say another taxi would come! So I rang back and the recording said it was a minute away. He was a great driver, very professional.

Our driver was pleasant and drove exceedingly well. Felt safe and comfortable at all times. Would happily travel with him again.

My fare was $56, when it should've been $40 max! I'm venting my anger at this farce. That driver was too much into the money and not enough into the service part of things.

Driver fine but Silvertop Taxis charged my MPTP card and then billed the full price to PayPal!

There should be a negative option when rating. Even one star is too generous after todays cab ride. Terrifying experience. Driver was oblivious to running 2 red lights, travelled at speed limits way lower than regulation. Driver looked unsettled and drive was jerky. The cab itself was dirty and very run down, with an unpleasant smell. Have never felt so unsafe.

I ordered a cab last night, for 7 am this morning, to take me to my place of work. It is 7.42 and after 3 phone calls there is still no cab and I am now walking to a tram stop. I am carrying very heavy bags and totally furious. That’s the last time I will ever use Silver Top Taxis, I am close to tears and that’s always a great way to start your day. I am now going to do what all the young ones tell me to do and will download Uber. So much for being a loyal customer!

Worst service. Booked airport ride 24 hrs out.canceled after taxi due to arrive. When contacted they say no guarantee

No wonder more and more people are using Uber.
I booked a taxi for “now”. ST took booking but no acknowledgement of how long it would take. I had to call back and was told 3 min which was wrong. When taxi arrived it was a grotty old van. Had to take it as I was late for appointment. Seat belt was choking me all the way. Driver did not wear a mask but I had to.
Never again.

Yesterday morning I was picking up my husband from Cabrini Hospital main.entrance as he was being discharged post operation. The pick up point is difficult to negotiate at the best of times. You have to wait for cars backing out and cars queuing to drop off or pick up patients. I reached the front of the queue and as my husband was being assisted into the car, a Silver Top Taxi (Registration M 3379) starting tooting its horn, urging my husband to get into the car quickly. My poor husband who is barely able to walk become distressed as did other patients waiting in queue. I have never encountered such rudeness, especially in the grounds of a hospital. Something I will remember as reflection of Silver Top Taxi services.

I booked a taxi through Silver Cab and I got quoted $50-$55 from the Melbourne cbd to Tullamarine airport. The taxi arrive next day and when we hopped on, the driver didn’t turn the metre on. I was curious and ask why. He said it is a fixed price of $74.10, I said I got quoted $50. When we got back home and check on our bank app he actually charged us $77.06 which is nearly $80. I just don’t think they are being honest if it’s a fixed price why can’t they just tell me when I rang? It was a whopping 50% increase from what I was quoted.

Booked the night prior. Waited 75 mins. Rang twice in that time. Operated was rude. Never again. Just installed Uber.

Rang for taxi, within a minute, driver rang me to say on his way. Waited 2-3 mins before he arrived.
Driver was professional, friendly, cab smelt wonderful & was immaculately clean.

Be ware, it's a misleading and deceptive service and no one is directly responsible.
ALWAYS ask for an invoice!
I booked the taxi at 6: 30AM to pick me up at 8: 00AM for an appointment to hospital.
Long story short, I had to make four calls to Silvertop because no taxi was there to the appointment.
The phone operator was clueless and hopeless, she didn't know when a taxi was available, she kept me on the bait to wait 10 minutes and she would call me back but no one did.
The taxi arrived with 30 minutes delay so I missed my X-Ray appointment at the hospital.
