Sia Burwood Medical Centre

I went in for an appointment because my ear was blocked and needed syringing, the doctor said take waxsol and come again in a few days. So I made an appointment, the next appointment I get there and another doctor tells me they don't have the machine for it and takes out this primitive tool for syringing my ear. It doesn't get the job done and I am out of pocket for 2 medical appointments cause my insurance doesn't cover it.

Efficient and friendly reception. Some consultation types bulk-billed. Even if it doesn't look busy, there can be a long wait, which is normal for medical centres. Make an appointment if possible (but still be prepared to wait).

Very disappointed that I had to wait more than an hour to see the doctor at Sia Medical Center. To clarify, I did have an appointment and no explanation was ever provided. In comparison, all other patients came and went as usual. It was my first time visiting this place but surely last time.

Sincerely grateful and impressed with this team, Dr Vincent Tong is a gem of a doctor! He takes great interest and genuinely cares for his patients. His wonderful team went out of their way today to help my distressed child. Two nurses and the doctor gave my toddler her three vaccinations simultaneously to minimize her pain, thank u to the lovely team! Much appreciated

I have been here few times and Dr Vincent and Martin were great but recently I saw dr Zhicong Xu (Jason) and he made me very disappointed.
I was very sick but he did not look over my condition and did not do any examination properly ; All he did was took my temperature and whole consultant took only few minutes (after waiting for a long time). When I got home I had to call nurse on call to seek an advice.

Would highly recommend seeing Dr Vincent Thong, he is very easy to talk to and makes going to the Dr not so scary for young people. Got a blood test by nurse Shan. Best blood test I have had done, my arm wasn't sore the next day and had no bruising at all!

Sia Burwood has been very close to my heart as I was one of it’s first patients. The Doctors, Such as Dr Sia and Dr Vincent are very passionate about their patients and give each patient the care needed.the front desk staff and the nurse are truely affectionate. Betty, the team leader of this practice is always available and very approachable. She makes it a point to listen to a feedback. I highly recommend Sia Burwood.

Been here 3 times now and have waited minimum 40 minutes every time. Doctors are ok but rush very quickly and don't take the time to look over your condition properly.

Was refused to have a written medical examination because the doctor hadn't seen me before! She said even if she would've done it they would charge $80 which was never mentioned when booking. This place is a joke. Avoid Dr Champa Cooray.

My first time here at Sia Medical. The receptionist are very helpful and polite. The practice nurse Shan, she is one of the best nurse I have meet. She is very caring. I would recommend this clinic for friends and family

It is now more than a year that we became SIA Burwood patients. It started first with me and then my wife and now with our son. Thanks to Staff, Nurses and GPs of SIA for your amazing and quality service.

Dr. Nan Ae Yun is oustanding. Fantastic doctor.

The receptionists on the other hand have terrible English.

Worth it for the doctors but not for the rest of the experience.

I am very impressed with the most attentive, caring attitude of the medical centre staff. The doctors are so well experienced and accurate with their diagnosis. The clinic is well equipped and well maintained. The reception staff is very pleasant and professional. Keep up the good work team and thanks for looking after me and my family!

Just had a very disappointing with Dr Syan Tan. Told him my issues and he did not seem to care and just give me another prescription from a Dr who took time with him. Dr Syan give me 2 min and i was out of the office. Not going back there again. Looking for new medical centre

They are perfect bunch of friendly doctors and staff, always ready to go out of their way to help you. I got medical reports within 20 hours which is not possible normally in weekend. Love you siamed staff

This is ridiculous! To think that we have waited a whole hour not even to be seen is absurd. Everyone else in this bloody medical centre has been seen except us. The doctors may be nice but that’s it. This is one of the worst medical centres I have ever been to.

I have been to this practice 8-10 times. Each time, they have been running a minimum of half an hour late. Most recently, they confused my details with another patient’s, resulting in an confusing and frustrating discussion with the doctor. Today I waited for over an hour, for a 90 second conversation with the doctor. I gave it one star because I couldn’t give it any less when rating it.

Dr Vincent Thong is honestly the most INCREDIBLE Doctor I have ever seen.he is literally amazing beyond words, goes over and beyond his duties as a Doctor, I don't think I could ever Thank him enough for everything he has done. Anyone who is lucky enough to see Dr Vincent is exactly that, just that Lucky. Thank you so much Dr Vincent Thong for being so AMAZING!

Best nurse at pathology- no pain no wait and I have fine veins issue it’s the first time I didn’t get a bruise - good job.

Saw Doctor Vincent Thong - very comfortable talking to him, a doctor that I will see if I have any issue.

Thanks to all lovely girls at the front desk- they even celebrated birthday with their 98 yo patient the day I was there.

Convenient location, but waiting times have got out of hand - always 30-45mins.will have to find another clinic if it continues like this

If you don't have medicare don't go. They will shaft you hard.
Also they run late and some staff at the front are rude
