Shark Shack Fish N Chips

Fish and scallops which I had, was really salty and oily. The color of the sweet chili sauce also dark and doesn't taste good

It was decent enough food. Standard service. Pretty good turn around on the order during Melbourne cup day. Lemons were shockingly small thin wedges.

Useally pretty good. If you ring and pick upand they say 10min. Be sure to be there.

Called in to get advertised “biggest and best vanilla slice”. They had plenty but told me “not selling it tonight”. WHAT?

I would honestly give this place a miss. Questionable food handling (touching fish without gloves) or cleaning hands. AC system was set to freezing in the middle of winter. The only renewing factor was we got our food. But the worst part was they would not serve us the vanilla slice, apparently “they weren’t selling it tonight” it was in the display cabinet already cut up ready to be sold! There is a lot more fish and chips shops out and about.

In terms of Fish and Chips shops I rate this place.
My general go to order would have to be the Hamburger with the lot. Always a large burger and absolutely delicious.

Friendly staff and pretty quick service. Had to wait 10 minutes with 6 other people in store.

Now that they stock The World's Largest Vanilla slice your able to take home a delicious desert too.

Food was delicious - slightly expensive but totally expected for the location. The vanilla slice was awesome!

Ordered a normal fish and chip meal for the family, chips and potato cake were ok fish was very oily and the burger patty tasted like I was eating cardboard, something I would have expected at McDonalds not a fish and chip shop. Also don't worry about getting the award wining Vanilla Slice, it tasted off. Also it is a rip off $$: - (

ZERO stars ideally. I was the ONLY person in the shop and was waiting to pick up. Stood right by the cash register for 15 minutes while the two staff busily cooked, answered phone calls and totally ignored me. My order was sitting on the rack the whole time. No apology. The only words they said to me were "Twenty Forty" being the price which was dearer than the usual place (H S F) that I normally use in Rye. Blue Grenadier fish was ordinary but not nearly as bad as the dis-service.

Dried up chips was charged $10 more than told on phone order! Told was 1% surcharge! Never again!
