Shark Shack Fish N Chips

Wish I could share minus stars! Absolutely the worst fish and chips ever! $65 for one souvlaki, one burger, 5 seafood sticks, 6 dim sims and min chips. So much chicken salt it was inedible. I wouldn't feed the souvlaki to my dog and the burger was so rubbery, it bounced! No customer service and the fresh fish in the servery was yellow! Went back and got a full refund and told them to get their act together and listen to their reviews. Wouldn't refund to my card and gave me cash instead, which luckily I counted before leaving as it was $10 short! Don't go here! It is horrible.

Terrible terrible terrible! What a terrible human being the owner is. We were there with our 3 young kids all under 7 years old. We spent over $110 for horrible quality food and sat on the outside table to ear. 2 mins into my kids had started eating the owner came and said we need to move within 5 mins as they are closing and need to take the tables inside. We told them we have little kids and my 2 year old had just started to eat so can he give is 10 extra mins. He said no and I don't care where you go, just leave in 5 mins. I don't care if your kids haven't finished. We got very upset as he started to yell at us in front of our kids. We packed and went to the park across the road, with kids confused and scared. My 5 year old asked me why that man was so so scary and shouting.
Worst behaviour by the owner, horrible quality food, extremely expensive and do not even expect a smile on their face. Expect an attitude and terrible food.
I am going to complain to a higher authority as he should not be allowed to run a venue like that. Please stay away from this place!

This was the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. Oily, unsulted and expensive and also rude staff. Walk away, don't spend your money here, you will regret.

Food as good as in any MilkBar. No longer selling Vanila Slices which were the reason to visit this establishment. Nowdays, this place has seen better days so Nothing special and not a place to specifically drive long distance to visit.

I’ve had couple of dodgy fish and chips in my time But this place takes the cake Grey dim sims soggy chips and half cooked potato cakes

Very disappointed! Fish was drenched in oil and had no flavor dim sums were dry, chips had barely any flavoring. The customer service was terrible overall worst fish and chips I have had in my life don’t recommend total waste of money.

Worse fish and chips people plz dont buy chips very old dry and burned we paid $35 for 2 flakes and chips could not eat chips too old never again and place very dirty

As a local to the area it’s frustrating how they take advantage of the holiday season by bumping up the prices but seriously enough is enough. We got over charged (not the first time either it’s occurred) asked for a refund for the amount that we over paid for and treated as though we had done something wrong. Waited over an hour for our food and eventually after having multiple members of their staff trying to find our order was eventually given it. I’d asked for extra lemon (happy to pay for it) was given none. Never going back and would recommend not wasting your money!

I don't recommend this place ever to anyone as they are rude and they aren't cheap they are expensive and the food isn't good spend $1.80 each for a dim sim and got 12 dim sims so that came to like $20 for just that chips didn't have salt on them as we ask for extra three times the potato cakes were soggy and black and the dim sims didn't even have soy sauce on them and they still pink inside we ask for extra source as well plus they were white so I recommend to anyone not to go to this place it came to $70 just for few dim Sims and chips oh sorry plus few potato cake and one flake
Maybe everyone else has good experience here but I'm sorry we didn't have good experience and not happy with the service

Amazing! Super fresh and delicious, generous sizing. Ordered the fish of day and chips. Good price. The chips were the best I've had in years!

I didn't think it was possible to make more disgusting burger. After one bite it went to the bin.

Wait wasn't too bad considering it's peak season in the peninsula. The food was disgusting, felt sick afterwards.

Would not recommend. Service was slow and when asked when order would be ready, was totally ignored by the staff member. On top of that, order was not completed correctly and we were missing fish we ordered.

Came with family to order some food. Man behind counter started screaming at everyone saying 2 hours wait. I asked If that’s for real? He stuck his hand in my face and said 3 hours now. Very rude, unprofessional people. No chance I go to them again. There was customers waiting for hours. And said food is really bad.

I stopped going here a few years back as the fish and chips was poor quality. I tried my luck again yesterday as David Prosser fish and chips (my usual go-to) were closed.
Well I was very pleasantly surprised… the food was top quality, wait time was only 10 mins despite having queues out the door.
Reason fora four start review is their exorbitant pricing - about 25% more expensive than next door and other local places.

Having read previous reviews I was slightly hesitant to come here. But I decided to give it a go nonetheless especially as my son wanted a kebab. We found the Kebab was good as was the Blue Grenadier which was tasty and crispy. Would not say that it was overly oily - it was as expected. A few bench seats inside and outdoor dining available. Not sure why there isn't more of a crowd here compared to the other fish and chips place a few doors down. I couldn't tell any difference between their fish or chips. Perhaps it's location because the other one is at a prominent corner location. I like it that the fish and chips are served in open boxes and placed in paper bags rather than butcher paper - I think it keeps the food warm longer and if you are down by the beach, the sea gulls away. Contactless payment with handsan on table with Covid screen protection at counter.

Great fish and chips for lunch by the seaside. Everything was tasty.

I do not normally give a bad review to places, but this one could to way better… 1 hour wait for an order, they were so busy, but could not realize and stop taking new orders. They just started to make our order when we asked about it… and surprisingly served us cold chips. Lacks organisation and management.
