Seymour Medical Clinic reviews
57When you eventually get to see a doctor they are very good, the problem is getting an appointment. If you can't wait a week don't bother.
I have been a patient of Dr Dwyer for about 6 years and cannot recommend him or his staff more highly as they always do their best to look after their patients
I really felt comfortable with Dr Reva and felt listened to. I have made the decision to only go to her from now on for all my health issues.
Excellent customer service. Good doctors available. Easy availability for the wheelchair. Punctuality and professionalism is the key. Prompt customer service and friendly staff at the clinic. Very good technically sound doctors at the clinic. Good parking space available.
Dr. Rane and Dr. Champikah have been great. Always great at getting back immediately about anything and have contacted when they have felt there is a need to and organised appointments so there wasn't a huge wait time. Thankyou.
The receptionists I spoke to this morning being August the 22nd 2023 was very abrupt with me and would not allow me to change my appointment for my husband to a phone consult. Due to that my husband hadn't seen that doctor before but we have seen just about every doctor in the clinic, Just needed a medical certificate as I told the receptionist and they would not allow a phone consultation, in these times of cold and flu, this is silly. We are a regular patients at this clinic and this reaction to my booking by reception I found to be rude.
Dr marlwah and fatemeh both are lovely great with kids and understanding. 02/10/22.
Michelle at reception on 08/08/2021 Very helpful
Doctors listen to you and your needs
Booking online is very easy, and can be done anytime of day.
I have been going to this clinic for many years
Girls at front reception do a great job very pleasant very helpful
My girls went there when they were little both grown adults now
still continue to go here
Also my grandchildren
Dr Marwah is the most amazing Lady doctor very kind and easy to talk to
I would definitely recommend her for your family GP
Keep up the great work guys
All Heath Care Systems need to update the My Health Record.
Patient Information is lost or not correct across the platforms.
This causes Miscommunication and more Entanglement within the Patients journey with the Health Care System.
Very slack performance from all Sections + Departments.
If you need a really good GP you're going to find them here. Dr Hany is wonderful with kiddos, Dr Mark is brilliant with complex health issues and Erica the admin is such a wonderful lady!
Always a good experience with my Dr Kristine Meridith. She is very thorough and diagnoses and correctly prescribes to keep this 72 y o healthy
This place was the most unorganised practice I’ve been to, staff at the front desk rude and don’t know what they are doing with peoples record’s as mine where emailed there before my appointment was due. I attended my appointment with doctor and when I asked him to check on my X-ray he said there is nothing here in your records so this appointment was a waste of time, I then went to front desk and asked some questions about my records being sent there, girls at front desk said they hadn’t received them from where the requests were sent to, I was charged $98.00 for a visit which was totally a waste of time, I rang up the practice es to where request’s where sent to and they gave me times and dates they had sent the information to this clinic, but the girls at front desk insisted they hadn’t received them, at this stage I wasn’t very happy customer, after 20 minutes debating with the front desk one of the girls came back to counter and said yes we have found them, they are still sitting on our system. So I was charged $98.00 for nothing and no apology from the rude counter staff or another appointment at no cost for there blunder, in my opinion this place is very did functional and the doctor I saw wasn’t much better either
I am new to Seymour. It took a little while to get an appointment which is different to my experience in Melbourne. The doctor was willing to bulk bill me which was a pleasant surprise. Parking was not a problem which was a welcome relief. The appointment was 10 minutes late but that is quite reasonable.
The doctor was not helpful or compassionate about my issues.wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Not the GP's fault but I got multiple messages I had results to review.made my appointment and the pathology I was waiting on was not there. Waste of valuable Dr time and the fee I had to pay
Great reception staff, friendly and patient in busy clinic, G. P.s provide good care and support for their patients.
I went to this clinic for help, all I got was a referral to a specialist I don't need and can't afford, and a bill for over $140. This doctor could help, they are trained to help, but instead just passed the ball and pocketed the cash. Definitely would not recommend.
Have been visiting Seymour medical clinic for over 3 years. The doctors and nurses are generally helpful. But for the last two year, my experience with this clinic has been down hill: they don't bulk bill anymore, not even for antenatal care, which may be explained by the government is on a budget. But I can't bear their appointment reminder system after a test result: bombarded with text messages (average 6), app reminders (3), physical letters (4). It just keep on coming and you have no option to stop it. If I need to see a Dr. I will. If a person doesn't respond after three attempts, you should stop. I was reffered to someone else. I already knew my test results. I don't want to pay $38 to see a Dr.for 2 minute to tell me what I already knew. This happened to me several times now. I'm calling for a change for this annoying act. I have also experienced been charged more for late paying a phone consultation- I was isolating for Covid, no one tells me there will be a late fee if you don't pay on the day, otherwise I could pay on the phone or send someone else down to pay.
The friendliest medical centre, Reception very welcoming and a doctor that listens.a really good 1st consultation.
5 Stars for the Teleconsult I had with Dr Meredith, but was on hold twice for 16 minutes and 8 minutes before I gave up with no-one answering the phone, so 1 star for reception services.
This place has gone down hill rapidly it is all about money now, a15 minute wait for phone to answer seems to be the norm. Staff turnover appears to be on the rise, new name should be (prescription renewal centre) would not recommend on any level. Not everyone wants to do things online.
