This place is rediculous. Definitely overrated. Us a group of four has been sitting there for 30 min, after placing our orders. Then we were told that they forgot to place it. How professional!

Good coffee and service but food as many mentioned feels slightly overpriced for what you get. A $24 dish left me unsatisfied

It was quite busy when I went but the staff were super welcoming & polite and happy to help me with some questions I had about the coffee beans. Beautiful coffee and beans, I’ve never had a bad cup of coffee from seven seeds. Definitely get the staff to recommend you a coffee bean to try, they are all unique and so tasty. Also the ham&cheese croissants are the best I’ve ever had love love love this place

One of my favorite coffee roasters and brunch places in Melbourne. Emphasis is on amazing coffee where you know you’re getting good quality beans and such as they note down their process on the label. The brunch is quite amazing as well. I always enjoy the waffle Benedict and the pastries are always a crowd pleaser

Used to be my favourite place for coffee. The food however is a little bit pricier than similar brunch spots but didn’t give me the wow factor I expected. Nevertheless still a great cafe.

Really cool place to go. The decoration is cool with high ceilings and a bit of an industrial look.

The coffee was pretty good, the staff was really friendly and the food was tasty.

The only downside to me is that the food menu feels a bit pretentious, even the French toast was too overly complicated. I guess I was expecting something more simple. But then again, that's just me.

Give it a try, I definitely will go back!

Just amazing coffee and the food no bad either. Just a great place to have a coffee with friends or just studying by yourself.

Near Melbourne University. Stop at Haymarket st/Elizabeth st green tram from Flinders Station. The price is less affordable for students but it provide beautiful food options. Famous for its coffee quality and regarded number 1 in Melbourne. But still, Indonesian coffee like Aceh Gayo is the best hehehe.had a nice meetup with Monash IT students here. Very pleasant for discussing ideas.

The coffee is so very good and the venue appealing and spacious. They know who to source their baked goods from - top quality (with the buttery croissants a favourite of mine to have with Vegemite). The morning rush can be a bit impersonal but if you become a regular, the staff are really friendly.

A little out of the way from the city centre, but if you're coming from the Queen Vic Market then it's not so far. Coffee and food is decent.

The coffee latte have too much milk I think.but the texture is very smooth like cotton! Maybe next time to order double shots!

My absolute favourite coffee shop in Melbourne! I love love love coffee so arriving to Melbourne the first thing I done was tour the amazing coffee scene in the city. Landed on this one by chance and I'm so glad I went in. Luckily I live close by now so this will for sure be my spot. If you ever need front of house staff, I'll be the first one at the door with a CV.

9 times out of 10 it is just waaaaaaaay too busy. It has very good food and coffee.good place. But way to busy.can’t really pick the crowds but I’d say uni student time is marginally (only marginally, weekends are rammed too) more busy. If being comfortable and not having that deflated feeling of “oh $&@$, there’s a million other people squeezed in here too”, then unfortunately I’d advise to avoid this place. Suggestion to seven seeds: why don’t you publish on your website how busy it is, live?

The epitome of melbourne coffee culture, hidden away in a discrete laneway, Seven Seeds has excellent coffee, beautiful food all in a spacious industrial brick, concrete, wood aesthetic. Perfect poached eggs, hearty pulled pork for colder mornings and other creative tastes feature on an interesting menu. But it's the coffee i come for - well rounded, care taken with each cup and skillful mastery of foam art. Coupled with quick service, I'm never disappointed at this bustling caffeine outpost.

Beautiful interior, you wouldn’t know it was there unless you really looked for it. It was very busy even on a Tuesday lunchtime so I assume the food must be great, we only had coffee but that was great!

Sometimes service has a long wait. Coffee and food are great to excellent. Atmosphere and decor is modern industrial with chill vibes.
