Serotonin Eatery

Used to come here often but the quality has really gone down. My partner and i came by and ordered the pancakes which looked so different to how they used to be. The plate was drowning in the berry sauce and the berries tasted old and were mushy. The side of the wall where we were sitting had food residue and needed to be cleaned. Wont be back unfortunately.

The magic coffee was perfect

Since the new owners have taken over this once amazing cafe is now quite subpar; service (apart from one staff member), atmosphere, drinks and coffee are all nowhere near what they were. The food is still reasonably good in terms of flavour but the presentation has also gone back a lot.

I’m a regular customer who won’t be back. Sadly, based on how quiet it was on a Saturday when compared with previously I suspect I’m not the only one.

If you're after a top-notch feed, Serotonin Eatery is the go-to place. No mucking around, everything about this joint is bonza. The menu is chockers with healthy and tasty grub, had a ripper of a time trying to choose what to scoff down. Ended up smashing a plant-based bowl and it was a beauty. The staff are friendly as, made me feel right at home. And the vibe of the place, mate, it’s as good as it gets, real chill and laid back. Plus, they’ve got this house blend tea that’s an absolute ripper. Can't recommend this place enough, it's a deadset winner. Five stars, no doubt about it!

Over priced foods $28 dollars for basically leaves salad plus a few baked pumpkins slices. Services are not good, we waited for 15 mins when the cafe was not even 30 % occupied (near 2 pm).

I really enjoyed my nutrition bomb salad it was amazing. However the service of this cafe today was not great because customer service and cleanliness was lacking and the staff seemed new. I recommend coming here with friends and family’s for all ages.

Today was beyond terrible. Nail in the coffin for me with spending $$ supporting a vegan eatery. (A highly priced cafe at that).
Whomever has taken over this business recently is running it into the ground!
The one floor staff member on today was rude and further to that had a comedy of errors narrative (which is proving super common since the new take over) as to why nearly every dish was “unavailable”. This experience also mirrored the last weekend’s service and food - just today being much worse. Zero care is extremely evident now with this business, and seeing the amount of left overs left on plates from previous dine in customers today showed something has definitely changed.
The previous floor staff, baristas, and chefs were always such a pleasure.well aligned, kind, friendly - always.
Current state with this cafe.don’t bother!

Beautiful organic, vegetarian food options and great beverages. A bit on the expensive side but the quality is up there.

Love everything about this place! From the delicious, scrumptious and healthy food, to the warm and friendly staff, to the uplifting decor. Definitely an experience to be enjoyed xx

Can't praise this place enough. What a fun place. I wish there were more places like this where I live. Great food, beautiful space, just perfect.

Nice vibe and the food is tasty. We tried the gingerbread latte and the peanut butter latte and they were so-so. Be aware there is a 20% public holiday surcharge that is not clearly displayed on the menu. So it was a bit of a shock when we saw the bill.

Pancake was delightful very nice. The atmosphere was nice. However drinks weren’t that good. Smoothie wasnt blend enough so very hard to drinks from a straw and tastes kinda weird. Overall would comeback for the dessert:)

Was charged a 20% surcharge (public holiday rate) on a non-public holiday. It should have been a weekend surcharge of 12.5% according to their website and menu. Such a shame because the food and service was great. Will not come back.

Read really good reviews about this cafe and decided to finally try it. The place is beautiful, and the outdoor area very stylish! I didn’t realize before going that it’s a vegetarian place (my bad haha) they have heaps of options! The nutrition bowl with the beetroot falafel was delicious! I also tried the mushroom shot on my matcha latte - quite unique addition to their menu. The prices are pretty steep though, with an extra 12.5% fee on weekends.

Pricey but can’t blame them, their ingredients are fantastic. My meals have been consistent and delicious. I feel like I could run a marathon every time I eat here. Lean in to your inner nutritionist and find out what perfect gut health tastes like.

Food is creative. Lots of vegan/dairy free options.

Popped in yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Felt like a well managed and organised environment and all the staff seemed happy! That's hard to find nowadays. I was on my rounds in Melbourne and I really fancied some soup, luckily these guys had a delicious broccoli and garlic soup on the specials.

I'd also like to say that the venue was really nice too. I noticed one section was closed, so I'm guessing they get busy at the weekend. Really unique space, will definitely be back and I'll bring a friend with a doggo. I didn't get any photos, but thank you.

Beautiful place to have a relaxing brunch. Whilst the atmosphere is great, I found the prices of coffees/drinks to be higher than average. The waitress also recommended an additional side of an egg to my meal, however, they ended up giving me two and the extras add up ($6 per egg that’s an additional $12). I also had some cracked egg shells in my dish which wasn’t that appetizing. I did get a complementary muffin, however, I would’ve preferred a discount to my already expensive meal which was around $40+ for one main dish and a drink.

Great place to try out new ways to eat. Do not go here for average brunch, they don't serve meat on any kind. Vegetarian and vegan delights are the order of the day. Generous and filling selections or self chosen combinations to delight the senses with a sumptuous array of sweet treats to eat in or take home to indulge in later.
I had an awesome dirty spicy ginger latte and the fungi. Satisfaction guaranteed
The staff are also awesome. If you don't want to queue, warning this place is very popular so be prepared for patience or come in off peak times. Eithe way you wont regret it. Devine ️
