Thank you Scorptec - outstanding customer service and tech services. These guys go beyond just making a quick sale (despite the competitive pricing).

I also witnessed an excellent example of customer service - rude and grumpy mother dumps a brand new tower workstation on their counter - little johnny uses it to play fortnight, and mum accuses scorptec of setting an expiring password. Scorptec tech kindly resets password in a disarming way. Hats off to you.

I have copied and pasted my review of PC case gear because Scorptec Clayton were our knights in shining armour for this stressful situation.

""Literally the only reason PC case gear is getting 2 stars is because in the past they have been exceptional.until 3 days ago.

We were having banking trouble which lead to withdrawing all the cash for our purchase and because we aren't usually ones to use cash we didn't know that pccasegear only take card payment.
In Australia this is not illegal, however, here is what our experience was after finding this out (first=us second=answer from pickup representative) ;

"Where is the local Commonwealth bank? " "I'm not sure"

"Where is the local shopping centre? " "I don't know if there's a bank there so I don't want to lead you to the wrong place" (no location given)

"Are we able to use the customer computer to see where the bank is? " "It's only for our website"

"Do you have wifi? " "It's not for customers"

"We're not from here, do you want to make a sale? " "It's not my problem"

The guy serving us did not offer to look up where the bank was once. He had a computer in front of him, i've no doubt he had a phone and there were other employees in the back room he could have asked. He did not.
"IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM"
Yep. That's right, it's not your problem, not your job, not like you're the one representing this business right now and offering the customer service. Not your problem at all.

So. Guess what we did? We went around the corner. Around the corner to SCORPTEC.

At Scorptec we had 2 employees jump up to help us immediately even though there were a lot of customers and it's just before Christmas so i'm sure they had a lot of work to do even without customers around.
We explained our situation and they were straight onto their computers looking up to see if the device we were after, or similar, was in store.
When they learnt that what we wanted wasn't there and they were unable to do another brand for the same price they organised private courier to have what we needed delivered by Christmas eve. (It arrived today, a day early).
These boys also made small talk, taking an interest in what we do and why we need the parts we're after. Even told us why we don't need when we showed interest in another overhyped product (my description not theirs).
We were made to feel comfortable, de-stressed and more than satisfied with the outcome.

So thank you PC case gear, without you we would not have discovered how magnificent Scorptec truly are.

Oh and another thing, Scorptec accept cash.

Peace out! ""

Thanks Scorptec. You are amazing.

All the people working there are extremely friendly and approachable, and know the answer to almost everything related to tech. Also the service there is very fast. 10/10 definitely going there next time I upgrade my PC

Well worth the drive from the other side of town. Service is always impeccable - never had a bad experience with Scorptec.

Almost unbeatable product selection. Really the only thing Scorptec needs to stock *way* more of is custom loop water cooling gear. If they had this, they'd be truly unbeatable, since the queues here aren't nearly as long as the their main competitor (which does carry a huge water cooling product selection).

Have historically had several issues with them, they're evasive and rude with warranty exchange/returns on DOA and other faulty items. Recommend avoiding altogether, they're not worth the hassle. PC case gear or centrecom are much more helpful.

Walked in and was fortunate to have Erina helping with my networking questions. She sat down and we both walked through my home network design discussing my specific requirements and what was available. The advice Erina gave me was seriously second to none - someone that wasn't just familiar with the products but someone who has used the products and knows how things work with each other. Her in-depth knowledge and experience with the equipment where (are) invaluable. Stellar service! This is why you go to Scorptec - they employ people that know what they're talking about and are passionate about what they do!

Definitely much" better than PCCG in all aspects. I asked PCCG and scorp a similar question,

Q1 (scorp)  Hi im wondering if you guys have a clear glass version of Thermaltake core P3 snow edition. Because all the pictures are dark glasses.

A1 (Scorp) Thanks for sending us a message and apologies for the delayed response.
I am currently checking with our Products Team if there is any chance of sourcing from our supplier the clear glass version of the Thermaltake Core P3 Snow Edition. As soon as I receive a response, I will get back to you.

Q2 (PCCG) Hi, I just want to make sure, is the tempered glass for this case is clear? And also when is the estimated time it'll be dispatched, since it's currently on pending. Thanks

A2 (PCCG) Tempered glass side panels on cases are often lightly tinted as this can help a lot to give an extra premium look to builds that include LED lighting!

I felt deep regret ordered my case from PCCG, just to safe 5$ shipping fee.

They can't even answer a simple question properly, the guy who replied me seems like a 12yo, can't even be bothered sending another email, so done.

Advertised an ASUS portable laptop display screen as compatible with my ASUS 17.3 inch laptop G752 compatible. You would think a GL752 is compatible, but no. Anyway returned to store next day everything in original box with screen stickers still intact etc. They charged me a 15% restocking fee even though I upgraded to a model $110 dearer. It is clear that customer service is second to profit. I suppose if you advertise enough you can afford to churn customers. Well this little black duck will not be coming back.

Terrific prices just as good as wholesale, quite busy in the shop front but great sales people to talk with.

I've been buying computer parts from Scorptec for years, mainly because years ago they were the only ones with an RMA system worth a damn, and an online ordering system that was good where you could view your previous orders etc. I've just continued to order from them because their prices are good for the service you receive and their stock levels are generally pretty good.

It was my first interactions with SCORPTEC - Clayton this week, as I needed to have some work done on my PC. My dealings were with Arthur who was in the sales team. From the get go Arthur was very helpful, kind, listen to my request and was very supportive. Got the job done!
I spent loads of money going other IT support companies and by far SCORPTEC Clayton met my expectations and I will use SCORPTEC when I next need help.
VERY HAPPY!

I've been buying tech stuff from multiple company, but this is by far the best experience. Staff were friendly, I bought a LG monitor from them, unluckily, the LCD cracked out of the box, bring it back to Scorptec, they replaced me a brand new one no question asked. That is the type of service and after care you need when it comes to technology stuff. Keep it up guys!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, spent $7000 on parts and get screwed with parts that didn't work and am caught waiting months for repairs, they still won't refund my money and they are incurring me loss of income.
