Very supportive, challenging and constructive advice on ‘how to’ deliver standup comedy. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and at times I was a little out of my comfort zone.

Great experience for a 70 year old.

Had the amazing privilege of learning stand up at Hard Knock Knocks. Couldn’t recommend a better place. Would do it again in a heart beat.

Loved it! If you’re thinking about trying out stand-up I would 100% recommend. Went from a nervous wreck with a couple of okay jokes to doing a full 5 minutes set in just a week!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was so apparent that Morry and Brad really cared about their students. They prepared us for showmanship on stage and taught us what it meant to write a joke.

The Hard Knock Knocks stand-up comedy school develops comedians through structured workshops and coaching by veteran comedians, such as Brad Oakes, Jeff Green, Richard Stubbs, George Kapiniaris, and other greats in the industry.

Comedy courses run on weeknights and weekends, and graduates receive photo headshots, and HD videos of their own original comedy set.

Post course, graduates are invited to perform alongside headliner comedians in the Punchlines Comedy Club, which is upstairs at The Rubber Chicken.

The Hard Knock Knocks comedy school runs monthly stand-up comedy courses for comedians of the future, bucket list tickers and key note speakers.

The coaches are comprised of veteran comedians, like Richard Stubbs, Brad Oakes, Jeff Green, George Kapaniaria, etc) and adult educators.

The graduates receive professional headshots, HD video of their final performance and the opportunity to perform paid gigs at Punchlines Comedy Club.

It was a great experience to attend the comedy school! Met a lot of awesome people, learnt from the greatests and built up the confidence to perform. Highly recommend it to anyone who's thinking of giving stand up comedy a go!

Morry & Brad made me feel extremely welcome on day one. Getting up and doing my first set was nerve racking but after doing it and getting laughs from the others in the course, I relaxed immediately.

Jaryd Goundrey & Richard Stubbs were the comedy coaches during the week and I learnt so much from both of them. Tips, techniques and learning about the industry.
The confidence I gained from the experience has been immense.
Morry, as a facilitator, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the week.

At the graduation performance, even though I was nervous, I remembered my whole set, which was an exhilarating experience.

This course was def gave me the push I needed to get up on stage, I learnt so much in such a short time. This is only the beginning for me.

Whether you are burning to do stand up or just want a fun challenge, I can’t recommend this course highly enough. CJ and Morry really understand comedy and provide an incredibly supportive environment. So many laughs and graduation is a hoot. Best thing I’ve done aside from giving birth to my three cats.

Last night was bloody epic. Huge congratulations to myself and the fellow course graduates. A HUGE thank you to Christine and Morry for the guidance throughout, could not have done it without your guy’s support.

It's been a couple of weeks now since I completed the comedy course and looking back I can honestly say it was a phenomenal experience.

It has done wonders for my public confidence, and the pay-off of hearing an audience laughing at your jokes at the graduation is incomparable.

The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, and it's also a great way of making the right contacts in 'the industry'.

For all of those wondering if they should take the leap, I highly recommend it!
