My friends and I had the most wonderful experience at Schmitz at Pacific plaza Hoppers crossing on sat. Wesley and Balasz were amazing. Service was excellent, such happy souls. Thank you both.

Sunday lunch at Schnitz is always a fun experience. The service is always impeccable & done with a smile. Shout out to Balazs for helping from start to finish - including trying to find a table for us!

This place is looking really run down and dirty! None of the tables are cleared. There's food all over the floor. Cutlery looks grimy. Floors are sticky. The staff are uninterested. Not what it used to be. I was really turned off to eat there. Genuinely worried I would get sick. I won't be back:/

Still the best chips around, but prices have gone up substantially. The $1 dip is now $1.20, as a baseline.

Went there at 9: 15 there they said cant dine in because its closing time but the closing time was 10pm not happy at all

Quite disappointed with the last two orders I’ve received through Uber. Both orders were wrong. You better go go and dine in and hope they get your order right!

Walked in the door as one of the wait staff was walking past with some plates. We waited to be acknowledged as we didn't know if we could just sit anywhere or had to wait to be seated. She saw us there but kept doing what she was doing. I had to ask if we needed to be seated or if we could sit anywhere, she responded with just sit anywhere but not were it's reserved. We then sat directly behind where she was working. There were no menus on the table or any that we could see anywhere. I get that most restaurants use apps to order and pay now but people need to be able to look at a menu. We waited a few minutes and again were completely ignored and I had to ask for menus!
We ordered our meals and paid via the app which again I am more than happy to do.
Well then our meals started to come out, 2 loaded Schnitzels were ordered but one was supposed to be spicy. When the server plonked them on the table I asked which was which. She then proceeded to lift each of the Schnitzels up with her gloved hand and obviously couldn't determine which was which. She then picked both plates up and said she would be back. Our other 2 items came one was the Swiss, which was fine nothing missing and was well put together. Then my Amercian dream slider to which I added Bacon, was put in front of me and she left. This was the worst put together slider I have ever had it fell apart immediately and to top it off was missing the Bacon. When i told the staff she practically huffed and i had to show her the order on my phone. This was taken away a piece of bacon slapped on it and returned. In the meantime the Loaded Schnitzels were brought back. They actually looked like my 2 year old nieces had thrown them together and seriously they were half a schnitzel absolutely ridiculous for the price we paid! We had to ask twice for cutlery and also had to ask about our drinks that had been ordered.
Honestly one of the worst experiences ever. The staff just couldn't be bothered and no care was given to the food at all. Will not be going back and would not advise others to go either!
They obviously have no care to promote good customer care.

Wesley is the most warm and friendly host. We keep coming back for his graciousness and the yummy food.

He was the best worker our family has ever encountered and I wish all your workers the best Christmas especially Wesley because if it weren’t for him I wouldn’t have experienced what elite customer service would be like and the chips are the best chips I have ever tasted, Merry Christmas and A happy new year

Schnitz, was once the best food and value for money going around.so what happened? It's kind of a shadow of it's former self. I've been to three different ones in the Northwestern/Western suburbs in the hope that it was just a particular store, but sadly not the case. Standards have definitely dropped. You shouldn't have to ask for the table to be cleared and wiped down before you sit; nor should you have to ask for serviettes. And the food is disappointing. What happened to those juicy succulent schnitzels? The last 3 served up to me have been dry and two of them were burnt. No seasoning on the chips. I could go on, but in short so not worth it anymore

My family and I had the best time at shnitz because the chips were amazing but the service was even better. And I would love to put in an amazing word for your worker Wesley who made our night because he was such a delight to talk to and he supplied us with everything we needed and we are definitely going to come back because of how welcoming he is. Thank you very much and please give thanks to Wesley he was the best worker we have ever encountered with. I would also like to wish use all a merry Christmas and a happy new year and best wishes especially to Wesley.
