Schmucks Bagels

I've been here two mornings in a row and both times have been delightful. I had the avo bagel the first morning and the sausage egg bagel the second morning. Both were very good. I enjoyed eating outside on the cute table and reading my book. The restaurant is in the center of the block, so it's sandwiched between buildings and not on the busy streets. I found this as a plus, as it's quiet and appealing. The service was very attentive and helpful. I may return a third morning!

Ordered the smoke salmon bagel a few times and absolutely loved it just got the morning sunshine one today so good this place is a hidden gem good coffee also

Great food and interesting combination of bagel options although suggest people waiting for takeaway and ubereats drivers to wait outside, it's annoying them standing around the dining tables while we are eatting.

Coffee's great. But I don't like that after connecting to your free wifi that I started getting spam chats and calls. You're most likely hacked.

Rare little gem open on Saturday when most everything else is close on weekend. Fast service with great food to perk up in the morning.

We got morning sunshine (pastrami one) and fiery chicken. Morning sunshine was great. Good option for healthyish snack

The bagels are amazing! And they were fast to bring out the food. The cafe was really clean and was a nice atmosphere to be in.

In Melb for a few days and had bagels on our first day. They were seriously good bagels? Enjoyed every bite, so fresh and yummy, the staff also very friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back and try more!

Fully loaded with beautiful fresh fillings, nice soft bagel and service with a smile. What more could you want?

Ordered three. Bacon egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese plus an everything with cream cheese. Quite different from an American style bagel, it’s kind of thin, on the lighter side and not chewy, but the seasoning is good though. Too many fennel seeds on the everything bagel, not really a fan of it.

A diverse and delicious selection of varied bagels, among the best that I have sampled in Melbourne. The bagel itself is served warm with a pillowy baked inside, encrusted in a light outer shell. The apple strudel bagel with its accompanying cream cheese adds the perfect amount of creamy goodness, carefully balancing the line between savoury and sweet.

It's early Saturday morning and we found this place tucked in a side laneway. We ordered coffee and a bagel to share and waited inside for our order.

The bench was sticky and could do with a scrub, perhaps it's not cleaned often at all as it was quite gross.

The coffee was cold, delivered by friendly staff.

The bagel arrived on a single plate even though we asked to share. When asking "Could we please get some cutlery " He walked off grabbing the cutlery and said "This is self service you know"

Quite a rude turn around for what was initially a charming place. Perhaps the two other customers waiting had the young person feeling stressed.

This is probably best suited for take away. Cold coffee and a tasty bagel only 2 stars

A fantastic selection of bagels to choose from, both savoury and sweet. A fair amount of seating for you to enjoy your bagels in the shop as well. Service was also very quick. So far the best place to get bagels in the CBD.

A varied selection of extremely delicuous bagels, muffins and soft drinks! Ordered a large catering order for an office team lunch, and they delivered right on time without any issues. Our catering order included options for GF, Vegetarian and Vegan options and everyone loved it.

Everyone must try the Lov-u-Lox (Salmon Bagel) and their muffins! Everyone in my team loved it:)

Nice and tasty bagels. Nothing mind blowing or outstanding but nonetheless something that hits the spot and is decently priced.

The bagel and cappuccino i got was reasonable and very enjoyable but the iced latte i recieved was very nice good would come back again just for the iced latte.

It was so disappointing, we ordered take away for our friends. The bagel was pathetic as per its pricing and rating. It was a hole in our pockets and embarrassing in front of our guests. The chicken was not cooked well and so chewy. Never going back again or recommending anyone.

Words and photos cannot describe how good these bagels are. I don’t know how they do it. All I can say is go there and try these yourself, it is a truly life changing experience. I challenge anyone try these bagels and not fall in love with them?
