Delicious meal, great coffee and staff and service waz exceptional. Definitely come back again.

My husband and I were on a post wedding getaway and we visited the cafe two days in a row, once for lunch and the other for breakfast. Both times the service was warm and friendly, and we had a great seat by the window which you could look out at the trees while you ate. The teas and coffee were delicious but the highlight was definitely the club sandwich and pumpkin soup (lunch) and then the epic french toast for brekkie! The owner was lovely too and all round made our experience a great one. We will definitely be back!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very tasty food and drinks. Definitely worth checking out instead of Miss Marples!

Sassafras village is up in the Dandenong Mountain Reserve. Got very hot and tired after roaming the Dandenong Range Botanical Park. A ice tea and sugary cake to help in getting a rest.

We went for the scones. The staff were lovely, and recommended just one serve for two people (I went to order two serves/four scones) as they were large portions- they were right. The scones were delicious, fluffy and freshly baked in store. Rod was happy to chat and threw in some great insights about the area. I’d definitely go back:)

Delicious food, one of the nicest burgers I've ever had the pleasure to devour, beautiful coffee and the owner is an absolutely delightful human being who was warm, welcoming and charismatic to boot.

Lovely little Cafe, lovely service and it's in a really pretty part of the Dandenongs. I ate a chicken burger and the chicken tasted very fresh.

If your going to charge $5 for a small coffee hire a barista or charge $2 for coffee. Worse than international roast from a tin.

Went for a very TASTY breakfast after isolation. Service with a smile & very clean I felt at home.
If you want to visit some quant shops with old time services visit Sassafras. (Bookstore, clothes & nick knacks)

Wonderful friendly staff. We went during covid time and I could see they have take all effort to keep everyone safe while remaining open and friendly to all customers. Family friendly place.

Absolute dump. Not really sure how it's even classed as a commercial kitchen. Only reason I gave you 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the coffee. I would definitely get another take away coffee.

Delicious food which came in a very reasonable amount of time. The staff were extremely friendly.

Lovely little cafe, friendly staff and great food and coffee. Had the sassy big breakfast which was delicious, filling and definitely worth the price. Coffee was great (Not that I'm much of a connosiour) and the barista has a voice like silk bed sheets 11/10 would recommend for morning breakfast with your bae

A cosy place with friendly people and nice food.
We enjoyed the Barramundi pie, and the club sandwich.
Service was welcoming and friendly.
Our order seemed to take a while to arrive, although the cafe was not particularly busy. But we did find enough to keep us occupied while we waited.
Nice place to come if you're in the area.

What a cute little cafe, with good food! The owner himself came out to grab our orders and kept the children entertained. Love the idea of supporting small businesses especially after COVID. Friendly locals around walking their dogs. Great friendly cafe with a lovely vibe.

WOW what Can I say. From the time we enter the cafe and the time we left, it was an incredible experience. Service was warm and comfort, Coffee was so perfect, food was so so good that there was no leftover in plate. The best treat was house made scones that was straight out of oven and heavenly. Thank you Rod and team for one of the best experience of our life. Takecare of your health and see you next year. CHEERS

I was only getting a take away coffee, and even then the staff are really attentive and friendly, great customer service and the coffee is the best I've ever had.

Great food and friendly service. We will be back later this afternoon after a walk to try a scone or two! Highly recommended

Magnificent scones, homemade jam was spectacular as well. Chai was a little bland, but the honey drizzled on top was delicious. Would definitely stop by again
