Restaurant review: @saporitotaquito in Southbank is located in a quiet lane and designed much like a bodega, true to it's mexican nature. The location of the restaurant must be quiet, but the bustling and music filled interiors makes you feel like you're in Mexico. The food matches the vibe, very colourful and at the same time, delicious. There were plenty of vegetarian options for me and the Green Enchiladas were extremely delicious.
What my friends loved in order:
1. The fish tacos were a big hit
2. The beef tacos with the fried potato chips on top were loved dearly
3. The pulled pork tacos are more authentic, almost sour in taste so anyone who prefers the more authentic taco style would like this more.

Authentic and very tasty Mexican. Great service as well, so friendly! Chicken tostadas was so good.

This is a restaurant you need to experience.the decor is average but the food and service is spectacular and authentic. Sweet potato chips and pork gorditas with sweet chilli and lime. Devine!

Loved my takeaway dinner. Can’t wait to come back and eat in post COVID-19. Generous portions with authentic flavour. The impossible cake topped off a wonderful meal of tacos, alambra and of course guacamole. Highly recommend trying out this gem. I will be back in the not to distant future.

I never used to enjoy Mexican food but must say this place is A-MA-ZING! Not the usual “Tex-mex” unauthentic restaurant, this is the real genuine cousine. A fine tapas style menu, where plates are made to share - definitely the best tostadas and tacos of my life! Can’t tell you precisely what to order but my favourite was the chicken tostadas, as well as the fish tacos and green enchiladas. Excelente!
