Good and tasty foods with medium quality. Staff are amazing and service is beautiful. Not many alcoholic beverages. This Cafe/restaurant is ok for a casual night/day.
Thanks

Unfortunately I used to love saporito taquito, however, the food this time was just fine. But my main complaint is about service, they took around 1 hour to bring us the drinks, and this was just jamaica water and horchata water, and for food we have to wait around 1 hour and half, even though we asked to the waitress a few times and we didn't even receive an apology, please be more respectful with the time, waiting for food upsets people.

We visited Saporito Taquito on a weeknight to celebrate a colleague’s work anniversary. It’s a hidden Mexican treasure in Southbank - unassuming and tucked away on quiet Kavanagh Street. Don’t let this fool you though, it’s one of the most legitimate and authentic Mexican restaurants in Melbourne.

They have more than just your standard tacos here - it’s a wide variant of authentic Mexican flavours which are all tapas. You must try the Croquettes, Tamales, Gorditas and Tostadas. And of course, don’t forget to order some tequilas and margaritas as well!

Saporito Taquito has a local restaurant vibe and gives you the feeling as if you’re visiting Mexico. Definitely check this place out the next time you’re craving Mexican food!

Best Mexican south of the river! All of the staff are friendly and attentive, everything on the menu is delicious and so that makes it my favourite local restaurant! Absolutely 5 stars

Best margaritas, food was full of flavour and customer service was spot on! Can see why it's so popular! Will definitely be back:) (Oh and under the name 'Saporito Cafe' they also do breakfast/brunch which was just as good!) Highly recommend it - and made a booking as it fills up fast.

Walked into this place, off the cuff for breakfast. Food was amazing, and not expensive. Coffee was very very very good too. Highly recommend.

Food was good. The menu was well explained and the hot sauces are not to be trifled with (and ultimately very good).

If there was anything to complain, the waitress kept trying to take our plates away, and when she did, left us without any replacement for the dishes that came after.

Really tasy food and margaritas, definitely worth the price. The service is amazing and the vibe is great. Will be back again.

Hate to write this but my last two experiences here have not been good. This latest experience was again about the service. Food fantastic can't complain there but they first told us we were late 8pm booking online they said 7: 30 and gave our table away (they admitted fault). After finding us a new table we ordered our food about 5 dishes it took them nearly 2 hours to bring it all out. The last one took nearly 45mins when the place was very quiet. 3 different waiters asked about our food but nothing came of it. I hope they address these issues in service because I really love the food.

DONT BE FOOLED.

Booked in for a party of 5 and as normal wanted to order a meal each. The waitress then recommended we order shared plates instead so we agreed, little did we know the shared plates cost 2 to 3 times more and only suitable for a party of 3 max. On top of that we only got half our order to then be informed that the kitchen was closed so we waited for this food for like 2 hours and in the end we where all still hungry. The kicker is what we got changed! So little food for so much money.disgusting!
Very overpriced
Average service
And can can get better Mexican at Guzman y Gomez.

This little gem hidden amongst the apartments and office buildings in southbank. Place is small and cozy, perfect for small gatherings like birthdays. Food are great and service was excellent, however price is a little more expensive than your normal Mexican joint. Highly recommend the gratined Broccoli and tacos.

As an American Ex-Pat, Ive been to just about every Mexican restaurant in Melbourne. This place is fantastic. They have tamales! The tacos are authentic and not drowning in some spicy Aioli BS.

It's honestly so tasty and I will be back!

Of course, it's Melbourne prices but, hey, that's life over here.

This place is awesome, each dish comes with a story behind it which makes you understand the culture and connect with the food on your plate. Made me want to jump plane and go to Mexico

Great salsas, great tacos. Price is a bit too pricey in my opinion ($16 for two beef tacos and $14 for two fish tacos). Does not fit the casual setup of the place.

This place is a gem! Everything was perfect!

Every order that we made had amazing balanced flavors. This is the best Mexican restaurant I have tried. The corn tortillas themselves alone tasted great and their chipotle sauce blew my mind. My favorites were the Beef Tacos, Beef Alambre, and Impossible Cake.

You should go and try this place if you haven't yet. You're missing out!

Amazing food, The pulled pork has been cooked for 4 hours on the taco must have. Very welcoming place, The waitress Catalina was amazing was well versed with the whole menu and guided us through the options. Please try the tipsy corn you won’t regret it!
