Good food, so much better than the Vietnamese available in Ballarat. So for that well worth the trip down. Pity about the drinks prices.

Good spot, but I do miss the old feel of Footscray restaurants.
Broken rice with pork should always include Pork floss, Patti, egg and a cup of soup broth.

One of my favourite Footscray restaurants The food is consistently amazing. We ordered the Sapa Spring Rolls, Corn Fritters and Brisket Pad See Ewe and everything came out perfect. The staff are great - super friendly and attentive. They have a huge range of cocktails and the restaurant interior is super cute. Dishes are great value for money here.

We had good experiences with this restaurant, kind and patient services guiding us through the menu and good food with multiple choices, authentically good taste with drinks offered.

Hmmmmm I think the food was ok. A bit sweet for me tho, but a lemon can fix:).
Good place for bun thit nuong in Footscray although it seems they used air fryer so didnt have the smoked flavour. For “La Vong” grilled fish, the fish was kinda dry shrimp paste was lack of sourness IMO

Food was mid except for the special fried rice. Really like that wok hei and charred bit
This place is definitely cost more than average. The 10 hours beef ribs were a tender and juicy but little too salty so make sure you have it with the salad.

Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Some of the dishes are truly amazing & some of the better dishes I have ever eaten. The chicken & pork ribs are great, the pad see ew is fantastic. Great cocktails too!

Fantastic food, and feels like a modern Ho Chi Minh cafe, The Sapa Spring rolls, OMG, soo good, very friendly staff too, good selection of drinks too. We ended up discussing that we should visit Footscray for dinner more often, great authentic places to eat.

The char kwe tiau (stir fried rice noodles) reminds me of chin chin’s.the fried rice is nice. Good and fast service. A bit pricey for footscray standard but they are good.

Great dining experience, although they no longer offer the salt and pepper soft shelled crab, which used to be the absolute highlight. They are also one of the places that look at you like you are insane when you say you don't need any steamed rice, and then keep coming out every five minutes to check you don't need any steamed rice now, before looking at you like you are crazy for not wanting it.
Great food though. The special spring rolls are to die for, and the egg tofu is delicious.

Ok. Really busy (with westerners) friendly buzzing restaurant. I've been before for lunch ordered from the menu and enjoyed it. Bit more expensive but fine compared to the other Vietnamese/ Asian places nearby. This time we ordered the feedme option for $49 each. Mistake! Four entrees served really fast, ok not great, no thought into providing balanced selection. Too much deep fried with lettuce wrap and mint. No one explained what was in the dishes just dumped on the table. One main provided greasy heavy noodle dish with duck? Too heavy after the starters provided, we couldn't finish. Long long wait for nice dessert.
Giving 4 stars as I liked before when I picked and the staff were doing their best considering how fast the tables are turned over.
Better options nearby for food and value. If you want better vibe, cocktails and good beer choices come here and order more interesting dishes off the menu.

This is my hands down favourite Vietnamese place in Footscray. The vibe, service, food is exceptional. Chef’s recommendations are the way to go or speak to their staff. Their salads are my favourite and I don’t even eat salads in restaurants. It was recommended to me by the owner and I order it each time I go there. Grilled Chicken or Grilled Pork. Beef skewers in betel leaves

Wonderful food at a good price. So many choices of not only food but drinks as well. Great atmosphere and quick and efficient serve. Have been here several times and will be back again.

Do not order Vietnamese food here, it was not worth the price. The food was not authentic nor taste good.

Located at the eastern end of Hopkins (the Footscray main shopping drag). There is myriad of casual Vietnamese restaurants along the street and Sapa Hills tends to appeal to Western market and offers classy ambience, slightly higher price point (mains $20 - 28), a novel menu and quality ingredients. Taste is superb. It’s great option for more intimate dining or for small group lunch/dinner. Menu has something for everyone, including Pho, noodle salads, stir fry and several vegan options.

Quick, friendly service with amazing food and cocktails. There are 3 different types of ribs that are all amazing, but there is plenty of other options that we've been working through with every visit.

Beers are cold and cocktails are solid.

Very warm, happy and lively atmosphere.

We walked in at around 7.45 pm and were told to stand outside whilst they arranged for a table.
Within two minutes we were summoned inside and shown to our table which was right in front of the door.
We sat down sand started to look at the menu. Meanwhile the door kept opening and a cold wind kept gusting through.
There was a vacant table two tables away so we asked to be relocated. Our request was declined so we said we would leave. The waitress said ok……

The northern spring rolls was beautiful.
Everything else we tried is too sweet, the fried rice, the Chinese broccoli.
It felt like I’m at a desert joint instead of restaurant.
Prob catered to western taste bud.
The management was good and lovely.
The staff was not trained very well.

This is a modern Vietnamese cuisine. Featuring many different types of vermicelli noodles. Spring rolls are absolutely delicious. A must come restaurant in this area.
