Sami Fish & Chip Shop

"Wow, wow, wow" is all I can say. We were in the area and came across samis fish and chips. The food here is amazing, it's cooked just perfect and tastes delicious, moist and crispy. The fish was fresh and soft and the chips was crunchy and not greasy.
You also have to check out their burger range it's like no other. I had a burger with the lot and "OH YUMMMM" is how I describe it.
I must say the shop was very clean, tidy and well presented and their service is fantastic and highly welcoming.

The food was by far the best I've had in a while at any fish and chips, I will definitely be visiting again when I come to the area and I highly recommend everyone to come here:)

One of the best fish and chip shops in Melbourne. Good service, consistent quality, fair pricing and nice people. I will travel past a number of these shops to get a good feed here. Five stars and two thumbs up!

The fish and chips was good but the calamari ring was like bartered dough. I couldn't find the taste of calamari. It was bad experience. My first impression towards the place was not welcoming if i need to go back again i think i will think twice.

I rate the chips 10 out of 10, but got the ick because our $47 order was put into a box that seemed to originally have had uncooked fish delivered in it (it was labelled ‘gummy’ on the side of the box. Hopefully the uncooked fish was in a fully sealed inner package and not touching the same surfaces as cooked food? Ruined my appetite though). And we were charged $1 for the recycled box. Huh? I can see lots of other people have great service and rate the food very highly here, so this is probably just a one off. If you’re placing a large order, maybe specify you’re happy to have it just wrapped in good ol fashioned clean new paper.

The best food i have ever tasted. The fish was fresh and the batter was amazing.the owners were so welcoming and nice. I will definitely be back for more

I had a burger from here via Uber last week, and I got to tell you, it was AWESOME!

Used to be my favorite fish burger.now you are lucky if you get any fish.more like a salad burger with plenty of onion.
Thought might be a one time thing but has been the same the last 3 orders.very sad but won't be back.

Highly recommend. Flake was delicious and fresh, generous amount of chips and the hamburger was one of the best I’ve tasted. Very busy shop but staff are efficient and very friendly.

Great chips but lamb souvlaki a big let down.
Hardly any meat in it but lots of lettuce.

There is usually a wait here, the place is busy and popular with takeaways. It's a fast-paced environment when you look at it. The staff is polite. Veggie patty burger was delicious. The chicken souvlaki and chicken burger tasted good. Its a neighbourhood fish and chips outlet with good service and a good taste.

Are you tired to find a shop to enjoy your lunch, samis is your choice. The best fish and chips shop in Melbourne. Try it and believe me you will not regret it.

Best fish and chips in my area. The fish is very fresh and the chips are always perfectly cooked. The people running it are also very nice. Best part is, it’s quite cheap.

Branded as Burgerlicious on Uber Eats. Don't order from here. The cloud rebranding makes it difficult to contact the restraunt, and my food never came. By the time I figured out Burgerlicious was this place I had hungry people and no chance to get food elsewhere.
If you order from here make sure to have a backup meal in place as they are wholly unreliable.

Chips was good but not enough salt, and I asked for chicken salt. Grilled snapper tasted bland with no seasoning, also had a old oily flavor. Calamari rings are terrible and mushy. Will not go here again

If it's 12am and you need a fish and chips in the Eastern suburbs, Sami is your man. Sami had never let me down and has always been a staple in late night cuisine
