One of the worst uber eats experiences ever
For $70 we got rancid fish, a souvlaki with brown lettuce & more rancid fish (also, who fries the fish in a souvlaki?) and the smallest, most barely crumbed, chewy-est calamari rings I've ever seen. Would rate 0 if I could, am never buying from this place again

Sorry to hear about the 1 Star reviews from Uber eats drivers. Your food is amazing and the customer service is perfect wouldn’t change a thing

Mediocre. That’s how the seafood pack was. Calamari and scallop was small, fish was average and the large amount of chips wasn’t a worthy substitute. Customer service was not great. There is higher quality fish and chips at lower prices in the area. I won’t be returning.

Excellent fish and chips shop - particularly the fish souvlaki and the potato cakes. I travel a good distance on weekends just to buy Sami's food (the fish and chip shops near me are nowhere near as good).

Was going home from a hard day of work saw sami's fish and chips on the way. Thought I'll give it a try and was really surprised how good everything was and especially the service by the beautiful lady that owns the shop will be back and definitely recommend

Worst possible service ever! They did not include part of my order and when I called back, they dismissed me and said “bad luck, we’re too busy”! There was no offer of a replacement or credit.

Favorite place to get food from, staff is so nice and knows all the regulars names and orders, really nice community feel. Really high quality delicious food.

Absolutely amazing family run business, I have been coming here for years and have developed such a beautiful friendship with these people, their food is delicious and always so fresh and tasty, you can tell the owners care so much about the quality of their food. Keep up the amazing work guys:)

I was at Central Park for a child’s birthday party and the food that was made by Samis’ was incredible, they caters for about 10 adults and 15 children and we left wanting more. The presentation was amazing in long white boxes and you could tell they take pride in what they do. We will be returning very soon. Delicious!

I love Sami's Fish and Chips! Great food that's affordable, Great locally owned operators that give great service. It's great to see them each week for our regular Saturday lunch.

No respect for uber driver.i was just asking if the order is ready for pick up, the lady was so rude, answered nothing nothing, if you don’t want to deliver, just cancel the pick up and not the whole order… so do you expect us to just wait for you to call out the name of the order? ! If you don’t like drivers, please do not partner with delivery services…

I went to this store two times for Uber deliveries and first day I waited 30 minutes thats not a big problem but another day it’s 1 hour 15 minutes and still got same reply if you ask how much time it will take and they reply I don’t know, I have seen many busy restaurants but they always say plz cancel the order it ll take time. Well thanks for such a excellent service.

Edit.on the uber app I could see the driver was at your store waiting.the batter didn't adhere to the fish and the chips were pale and definitely not crispy.the error wasn't uber and I tipped the driver

Pretty standard fare for fish and chips. Not great but not bad. Quite expensive given the quality though, and almost $15 for a burger with the lot that doesn't come with an egg on Menulog (no, it doesn't, you charge 1.50 extra) is pure daylight robbery. Poor form.

My whole family loves Sami’s, there’s something for everyone. The staff are so nice and friendly and even after ten years of living abroad we still remembered the food and the people.

Food is very good, service is decent. Portions are pretty generous for the price too. The Greeks do the best Fish & Chips!

Absolutely my favourite fish and chip shop in all of Melbourne!
My housemate and I stumbled upon it on a night out and everything is delicious. The fish is cooked to perfection and the food is ready quickly. Definitely recommend it!
