This Restaurant was the best, and will always be the best.
This place i went out with this Beautiful person Called Lindee.
The date that made me and her fall in love.i would never forget this place
I would love to surly take her back to this place and tell her how much I love her.

I have been here 4 or 5 times and it's been closed?
I was told they are closed for renovations.
Can't wait for them to reopen again.

Delicious in every way.

Apart from having one of the most amazing views of any restaurant in/on The Island, Saltwater has a fantastic group of staff, amazing chefs and to die for food.

As I was far to engrossed in my experience I didn't even manage to grab any pictures so have grabbed a couple of images that matched my food.
After enjoying a nice glass of local white sauvignon blanc each, my wife and I shared a really nice margarita style pizza fresh from the traditional pizza oven.
Fresh made dough made this pizza a great start to any meal.
My wife then enjoyed a generous serving of fresh caught battered fish with hand cut chips. The batter, obviously made I house, was light and crispy with that amazing "crunch" that give such an extra sensory sense of enjoyment when eating it.
I had a perfectly cooked bleu steak, which in itself is not easy task (I tip my hat to the chef). This was partnered with crisp and tender vegetables sitting on what I would call a potato rosti/hashbrown that was crispy on the outside with a perfectly seasoned, soft potato mash inside. All of this topped with a flavoursome reduction, flawless.

To compliment the meal, the service was efficient and friendly and ever so attentive. The team and the management here should be so pleased with how diligent the staff are to providing such a great experience.

Thank you to all involved in our visit this evening from dinner. We will, and have already, be sharing our amazing experience with anyone we know who may be visiting Phillip Island anytime soon.

Good spot and Beautiful food, looking over the bridge and water such a great spot for a romantic date:) arancini ball is worth a try and the seafood pasta is to die for!

Set in an amazing location it has a wonderful atmosphere. Our mains were nice but nothing amazing, however, the pizzas were great. I would be happy to go back there and recommend it for a nice night out.

Loved this place from its position on the jetty to the no-hassle free parking and the ambiance inside to the menu itself. Good variety of meals including pizzas. We were a group of 4 and everyone was really happy with their choices from mussels to calamari to arancini to pizza.all good. Three of us had affogato and one wanted his without the liqueur. There was only a price difference of $2 to have it minus the liqueur which we found a bit unusual but this was really the only criticism. We were beside the windows.absolutely gorgeous.but that could get a bit hot on a warmer day. Thanks guys.we are definitely recommending you.

We went as a party of 10 & were seated upstairs. We arrived 15 minutes before our booked time & were kindly given the option of having pre dinner drinks or taking our seats, we chose the latter. Our waitress was lovely & very attentive. Our drink orders came out quickly & soon after our meal orders were taken. Again, our waitress was friendly, efficient & did a great job. Our food arrived 75 minutes after being ordered, but honestly, we were enjoying ourselves so much no one really noticed. Some of the comments from individuals in our group re the food, the Pizza was delicious, fresh & tasty. The stake was cooked perfectly, the Calamari was fresh & tender. No one left hungry, portion sizes were great. It was possibly a little on the expensive side, but personally, I’m happy to pay a little more for good food & good service. Re the noise levels, if you’re looking for a quiet romantic dining experience, I suggest you go somewhere else. If you’re looking for great food & a good vibe & aren’t too worried about a bit of ambient noise, I think you’ll enjoy Salt Water. BTW, the views from upstairs were lovely, we also had the big sliding door open which was also lovely.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Generous servings of very tasty food in a lovely setting. My partner and I shared a salt and pepper calamari starter which was beautifully tender. Then he had the mussels and I had the chowder. We were both stuffed full.
Good service too.

Long wait for food. Overpriced. Unpitted olives with stem on pizza. Dentists delight. First time and last time.

Okay. I'm gonna go five stars now because whoever replied to my first review (a one word one) showed them self to be a true Aussie with a big mouth and shouted me down for not bothering to do a proper review. Whoever did it, LOVE YOU MATE! If Saltwater thingy has staff like you its literally one of the best places on earth, and I'll definitely be back!: D

Amazing place to visit whilst on Phillip Island, took around a hour to get food but it was good.
Good local beer selection, friendly staff.

L considered that the venue and setting did not fit the low quality of overpriced food presented. A very ordinary hamburger overcooked and bland. Go and get lessons from hungry jacks. Other meals were filled up with undercooked chips and designer greens. Very unlikely to drive past better restaurants to be made unhappy with the meal again. 2 out of 10.

Good food, great setting, attentive, friendly staff. However on a busy Saturday night our 8.00 pm booking didn't get mains until 9.40. Staff were apologetic. Don't go when they are busy unless you are prepared to wait a long time for your meal.

The view! For someone addicted to great views like myself, this restaurant is brilliantly placed. The floor to ceiling windows take advantage of the jetty position.
Menu is on the smaller side but with enough variety. The beef patty on the burger was to die for. Service was polite, and efficient. Our keto preferences catered for with no problem.

Beautiful food, views and company. The service was amazing. We would definitely recommend it to any one.

This is a terrific place to go to and eat. Lovely food the guys there are very friendly. Had a great time and will be back.
