Great service and the food was 10/10 one the best place to eat on the island I will be going back there soon

Food is good service is terrible,
The people who run this place don’t seem to care about service.

Just popped in for an afternoon drink. Chose and old favourite, the Espresso Martini. BEST EVER!

After having our late afternoon cocktail, my wife and I decided to stay for dinner and we were so glad we did. We've eaten at a number of restaurants and cafes on the Island, and Saltwater would have to be in the top three. The view from the restaurant is lovely, the staff are attentive and friendly, the food is prepared beautifully, and the coffee is great.

Next time you're visit Phillip Island, do yourself a favour and visit Saltwater!

I have to admit I didn’t want to eat pizza tonight but, they were so busy that we had no choice. However, I’m absolutely thrilled I’ve changed my mind and ordered prawns pizza. Wow! And double wow, wow! After living in Australia 34 years… I’ve just enjoyed the best pizza I’ve ever had my wife ordered the squid but, end up having most of my pizza. Thank you BEN, SALTWATER and their lovely waitressing for such nice experience.
My wife and I walked back home smiling all the way… hehehe… awesome meal!

We had a special occasion dinner and Tenita and the Saltwater team were amazing, great décor to suit the exceptional view and the food was delicious (set menu was perfect) Drinks compliment it so well and they will be soon becoming a brewery so Saltwater will be getting even better. We had kids who also really enjoyed it as well! We will be back.

After reading all the reviews after the last couple of months, from long wait times, to the lack of staff, we decided to give the place a go.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was relaxed, service was friendly and on point.

Only down side, as diners upstairs, we were left alone a bit too much and table settings weren’t topped up after last diners.

A plus would be a waiter coming to check on us occasionally (“how’s everything going, can I get you anything else? ”).

However, I do highly recommend this place. It really looks like they read the reviews (from the last 3 months or so) and took them on board to pick up the challenges handed to us from lockdowns and staffing issues.

Mango daiquiri is a must get! The parma was great, chips fluffy & crunch, salad was good with yum dressing. Will definitely come back on my next phillip island trip:)

Hi there came here on Saturday night for a dinner with my girlfriend and her parents. On arrival is was a very cool looking place next the water up against a pier. The place is very casual/dressy vibe. When we got the the waitress was nice and sat us at our table, she continued to tell us there would be up to a 45 minute wait on the food, we said no worries we understand. 1 hour and 15 minutes pass and our food arrives. We weren't exactly thrilled but it is what it is. We got the chilly mussels which were very good, very tasty needs more bread with it to dip into the sauce! Also got the fish tacos which were spot on. We also got a pizza and was a wood fired fancy looking and I was told it tasted great. So good was.great obviously but they lose half a star for the long wait. Short staffed or not you should be offering the customer something of value for the mistake you are running a business you have to respect the customer. All and all amazing food. Average service.

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly. Loved the mango daiquiri too

There was a bit of a wait due to the full house, a pizza came out with cheese when we asked for none but the staff fixed it straight away. The food was amazing, the chips were some of the best we've had and the staff were so lovely!

This pub-style restaurant is in a great location right on the peer. They have the best gluten free pizza bases anywhere, I think, and I've tried a lot of them. They also top them with interesting flavours and wood-fire them. Highly recommend.

Great spot to sit in the sun, eat some delicious food and enjoy beautiful views. Staff were super friendly and helpful too.

Fresh, tasty, and well priced. Great views. One of our favourited dining destinations on the island.

A genuine wood burning oven. Immaculately clean.

Went there on Saturday night. Great traditional style pizza and location. Will Go again next time I'm in the area.

Disgrace. Waited for 45 minutes for pizza that didnt come for only the waiter to come up to us and say what pizza did you order? What a joke.

: Another post from my Philip Island trip last week. Combining a love of the ocean with quality local produce, Saltwater is an exceptional dining experience by the water.

️: Went for the Pumpkin Salad of course, no surprises. And since we’re by the ocean, we had to get seafood, thus we got the Chili Mussel with San Marzano tomatoes, white wine,? Garlic, herbs and house focaccia.

Amazing spot. This place should be not only for gourmand but also for those who enjoy atmosphere and spectacular view.
We popped in for a quick snack just after lunch time.
Not many people. We ordered wood fired pizza which was very tasty, especially the mushroom one.
Not too loud and relaxing music on the background make our experience in this place very pleasant.
Not sure how it would be this place at busy time, as is set for a quite a few spots, but we would definitely recommend it on the nice day in quite time.

An amazing restaurant with friendly staff and great food. The views are amazing! Ben, the owner is such a nice guy I will definitely go back again and again and again!

Could not recommend this place more, fantastic atmosphere, great service, awesome drinks and the food was phenomenal
