Rush Escape Game - Escape Room Hawthorn

Excellent place to put your brain to work and have some fun with your friends. Meticulously staged sets and great puzzles. Thanks to our gamemaster Natalie, you were awesome!

Just went today to do the Hacksaw room. Had such a great time, the room was really well designed, the atmosphere was fantastic and Chloe (I think that was her name!) who was running the games that day was absolutely lovely. A huge thanks to her for making our experience just that much better, will definitely be back to try the other rooms.

Just wanted to say thank you for the awesome experience Nat! We thoroughly enjoyed the HackSaw room because of your enthusiasm and help! Unfortunately we missed you during our visit for stranger things. But we got through it much easier this time without much hints! Although we still got stuck at the door again haha! Hopefully we see you again!

Had a session doing the nine-nine room which was awesome! Good challenges and character stories Jess was an amazing game master, giving us clues when we were completely stuck, but subtle enough that we were still so excited when we figured it out. Would highly recommend

We attended Rush Hawthorn today to do the Stranger Things room. Rush has always been one of the best escape rooms in Melbourne in both puzzle depth and set dressing. They continue their standard in Hawthorn. We had a great time in the room with the variety of puzzles and excellent customer service from the staff. I will contribute recommending Rush as a must go to in Melbourne.

We had an amazing time doing the hacksaw theme room. With the assistance of our game master. We were able to escape with minimum help. Thank you Aaron and the team for providing new room continually and keep the place fresh and challenging. Looking forward to coming back again.

We had an absolute blast doing this room. Proper Actually scary and Michael the host did an excellent job of setting the mood. Recommend highly but caution for the easily frightened as there was plenty of moments I feared this escape room was more than real.

Can't rate these rooms any higher. The flow and logic of the rooms are fantastic and the props are extremely realistic. You can tell a lot of thought went into their setup and I highly recommend giving them a go!

Great venue, great staff and GREAT puzzles! The Strangest Thing room has been my favourite so far, not too easy and got the brain going after a couple of months in iso. Already planning my next trip!

We had such a wonderful time completing the strangest thing escape room! Staff were exceptional and the room itself was the perfect combination of challenging and fun! Would highly recommend!

I had an amazing time! The clues were the right level of mind boggling difficult to an 'ah huh' moment when we figured it out! They had really cool, creative aspects to it and the staff were super friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend this room!

My brother and I did the Saw escape room and it was super fun and immersive! The staff were really friendly and helpful as well. Definitely recommend doing this room.

My boyfriend and I went to the Rush Escape Room in Hawthorn, and it was absolutely amazing! It was our first time, so we didn't know what to expect. Our game master Cameron was super proffessional and was extremely welcoming. The escape room itself was a piece of art. It captured the details of the Saw movie precisely. Im an absolute horror fan, yet I was still somewhat spooked by the realistic escape room. The puzzles were very well designed! Just when I thought my boyfriend and I were going to run out of time, we made it with as little as 30 seconds left. Overall, it was a thrilling and wonderful first time experience. I highly recommend this escape room to anyone who is seeking adventure.

My girlfriend and I did the Hacksaw escape room. Was lots of fun and our game master Wren was great.
It was both our first time doing an escape room so we went in not knowing what to expect at all! We found it pretty challenging and did have to ask for quite a few clues and ran out of time but we got very close to getting out, also it was just the 2 of us. If we had a bigger group I’m sure we would have nailed it. Will definately be going to South Yarra to try more. My only suggestion for the room would be possibly having Billy the puppet speak to you throughout the time to give you directions on how to start etc like the Saw movie, but we still had an awesome night and highly recommend this room.

My husband and I have done a couple of escape rooms in the past and this one was brilliant. I don’t scare easily but this room was creepy as hell (and we did it at 10am!) Ha ha The staff were so friendly and professional and add that extra air of intrigue and mystery. Quite a tricky room so good for experienced escapees. Would 100% recommend this experience. Great for a first date, great for a group of friends, good for anyone really (unless you scare easily.lol)

The room itself was set up perfectly, it really did remind me of the movie!
The puzzles/riddles weren’t extremely difficult, but hard enough that you had to really think about it to work it out, which is hard when there’s a timer and you feel under pressure and everyone is talking trying to figure it all out, but when you do get it, you think ohhh that was clever! Haha
There were 4 of us which was good because we all got to work out different clues if the others couldn’t.
The idea of asking for hints is cool, because Cameron didn’t just give us the answer, he gave us another riddle to help figure out the riddle and he sounded just like jigsaw which added to the fun!
It was such a thrill, and we will definitely be back, can’t wait to try other rooms! ️

Had an awesome experience here in the hackSAW room! High quality room with an awesome atmosphere and a decent amount of challenge without being too difficult. Our gamemaster Wren was fantastic and really added to a great overall night!

Hacksaw was a great escape room. Customer service was absolutely fantastic, Cameron was really friendly and helpful throughout the game.
