Rush Escape Game - Escape Room Hawthorn

This was our 3rd time doing an Escape Room at Rush and they never disappoint! Staff are so lovely and funny, making it all the more enjoyable and the rooms are amazing - hands down some of the best in Melbourne for sure! Such fabulous attention to detail, the themes are so on point and the puzzles never fail to amaze!

Was a great venue and awesome theme. Big shout out to game master Nik who made the experience very worthwhile!

Our game master was great, and the room we did was really fun! They had high quality equipment and the theme was done well. I always love Rush Escape rooms! They don't disappoint.

We did Cluemanji and Monsterz Ink at South Yarra and The Nine Nine at Hawthorn and had a great time. The rooms look great, with lots of references for fans and the puzzles are clever and well thought. We found Monsterz Ink a bit more tricky to figure out but staff in both venues were very helpful. Particularly loved Seamus in Hawthorn who stayed in character all the way through and was super supportive and encouraging.

First time doing an escape room ever! And it won’t be the last. My friends and I had the best time for our first experience. We completed the HackSAW room at the Hawthorn location, which definitely kept us on our toes. Everything about it was so much fun from working together to solve puzzles and being eager to escape successfully, which we did thanks to Nat our game master, who was fantastic! She made the experience very enjoyable and we’ll definitely be paying a visit again soon. 100% recommend trying it out for yourself if you haven’t! Thank you Nat!

A group of us tried the hackSAW room in Hawthorn and its just like the movies - realistic, challenging & a nail biting experience. Thanks to Nat (our game master) for making it so enjoyable! Loved it! Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic time doing hacksaw room with nik as our game master it was a blast and highly recommended doing any of their rooms across the 3 locations. We amazingly survived and escaped will definitely be coming back to do the other rooms and highly recommend Nik being our game master High enery all night.

Fantastic! We had an absolute blast and the staff were very helpful and kind. This was my first time visiting an escape room and I can’t wait to go back!

Can't recommend this place enough! The strangers things room is a real stand out. Creepy and really creative clues that are fun to solve. The Hack Saw room is also a highlight, they really know how to set the atmosphere. Ryan was especially friendly and enthusiastic.

I took my son there for a birthday activity recently and we really had a good time faced with challenging clues and well thought out theme and props. It was our first Escape Room experience and safe to say wont be our last! Thanks to Master Ryan let us have a tiny bit extra time to solve the room - meant the world to my kid and secured a return customer in me. Well Done Rush Escape Hawthorn.well be back to a Rush escape room soon!

We had the best time in the Nine Nine room and it was only made better by Jess and Ryan! If you want a fun, challenging escape room with amazing Game Masters then you should definitely give Rush Escape a go. Thank you again Jess and Ryan <3

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon, we completed the Nine-Nine room first had so much fun that we came back an hour later to complete the Hacksaw room, Jess and the other worker helped us through the rooms, while letting us do it ourselves. Definitely recommend going here!

Lovely venue, fun and achievable puzzles (with some occasion help) The real star from the place was the Game Master Chloe who was friendly with a great sense of humour and style. No fuss no nonsense it was a great start to our morning

We did the Nine Nine escape room and it was the perfect mix of fun and challenging. A really well thought out room.

Our gamemaster Seamus was sensational and very helpful with clues without being obvious. Our walkie talkie and torches worked perfectly unlike at some other places we’ve tried.
Can’t wait to go back.

Did 2 rooms at Rush Hawthorn (Strangest Thing and The Nine Nine) with my friends and we had a lot of fun. The set was beautiful and the puzzles provide a good mix of challenges to our team. Even though the Nine Nine is rated as easier than the Strangest Thing, we found it quite challenging as it is not as liner and there were some red herring in the room, but we still managed to finish in time and enjoy the game throughout.

Special thanks to the game master Seamus, he was very welcoming and helpful. One of our teammates needed to drop out last minute due to COVID issue and Seamus issued a voucher for her right away which is very kind. We didn't need much hints in the game but when we did, he was quick to respond and provided some helpful push to the right direction. He also helped us booked our 2nd game very quickly!

So overall, fun games and great customer services, we faintly heard the group in another room having a wild time so we will be back to check the 3rd game out.

Had a great time with the stranger things room, nice range of puzzle styles, would definitely recommend! Shout out to jess our game master, helped us see what was right in front of our faces without spoiling the fun or the vibe

OMG was soOO good! Second time coming to this Rush Escape Room with my BFFLs and had such an amazing experience. JESSICA WAS SUCH AN ENTERTAINING AND HELPFUL GAME MASTER.
