A truly immersive Middle Eastern restaurant, Rumi Brunswick fully deserves it’s high rating. With a strong customer focus, the vibrant, “buzzing” atmosphere instantly transports customers to the Middle East. The food is incredibly delicious and comforting, with a choice of small, medium or large sharing plates, complemented by a comprehensive beer and wine list. It's no wonder Rumi is considered one of the best restaurants in the city. We’ll be back for sure!

Delicious food and great atmosphere! We tried the lamb shoulder and quail and it is awesome. For desert, Baklava, Dates and Pudding. Again, amazing

Another visit to Rumi, another faultless experience. The outdoor seating under the Bedouin tent is just lovely. Friendly, accommodating, professional staff, delightful food, well matched affordable wines. Just an overall delight.

Portions could be a bit bigger for the money we paid for the banquet. 1 meatball each and 2 small wings each, 1 skewer of fish, etc doesn't suffice.on the plus side.they cater for dietary requirements and staff is wonderful.

Had the meatballs and chicken shish with a side of rice. All dishes were hearty and just out right divine. Cherry cocktail was perfect. Will be back soon

Such a great menu and the restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere. Each dish is a taste sensation and all dishes compliment each other perfectly. Wonderful!

Lovely experience to have the banquet or feed me option. Definitely worth the price and had great first impression on the food, service, and the place in general!

Food was good but was marred by the waiter continuously reminding us we had to leave at a certain time. Understand there is a time limit but there are better ways than to constantly harass us that we better hurry up.

We had the banquet and it wasn't too bad, my only criticism is that basically everything aside from the pickles and bread was drenched in oil.

Service and food 10 out of 10. Had the vegan banquet which was excellent. Turkish delight cocktail was another highlight. Thanks

One of the best food places in Melbourne. I was amazed by the flavors in chicken wing, chicken shish and eggplant. Staff was very friendly and also adjusted dish quantity for our group.

Baklava Ice cream sandwich is must have for dessert.

Incredible food, extremely warm and genuine staff. Great for groups. Come hungry and try most of the dishes. One of my favourite meals in Melbourne.

Four of us ate here, excellent fast and friendly service. Great food. Girlfriend was able to have lots of vegan/ vego options. Many Cocktails and good wine options! Must try the mante of the menu!

I don’t want to give 3 stars because the service was good but the food was definitely 3 stars for me.

The shared set menu was $69 per person (valentines day) which is a good price, however, the food was quite simple and there wasn’t really any unique or wow factor. When we read the menu, it sounded quite extravagant but when it arrived, it didn’t seem like that unfortunately.

Also, the sparkling water was $15! They ask you if you want sparkling or still and we said sparkling without really knowing it was that much. I genuinely believe this can be mentioned or price really needs to be lowered because that’s really expensive. Overall service was friendly, thank you!

Incredible. Amazing dinner at Rumi - every item we ordered was delicious and the flavours were impeccable. The service was friendly and attentive. A gem in Brunswick East. I cannot wait to return!

Heard so many good things about Rumi and was so excited to go. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the the hype. The food was nothing special and very overpriced. Happy to pay good money for tasty food but this was far from that.

Delicious middle eastern food with a modern twist. Fresh and full of flavour. Good portion sizes. Excellent service. Very nice vibe. Can’t wait to go back! Oh, and order the arak! You won’t regret it!

Wonderful night out with the family. Food was incredible, esp the Lamb, Labne and that Cauliflower wow! Staff are all super friendly, can highly recommend, we will be back:)
