Roule Galette Carnegie reviews
74We just shared a pancake with salted caramel as dessert after dining elsewhere. We both rated the pancake "average" and the salted caramel far too salty. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Never disappointed with theor coffee and also deaert. My fave is salted caramel. Good place to catch up with friends
Ordered 2 different crepes (to be shared by 3 people), and 3 coffees. Forgot the names of the crepes, but they were super good! Coffee was alright.
Amazing French experience.literally, bring you across the world with the flavor and atmosphere. The French girls are so kind and friendly, so they make you feel like you're in France. Definitely, I will visit again!
Used to love this place but the customer service is a yikes. I have never had a chef personally come out to yell at me after asking if they could remake one crepe. She remade the crepe and then charged for two. Most stressful experience at a restaurant and the first time I’ve seen this happen in Melbourne!
Super glad this is a local spot for us. Food is consistently delicious and we take our friends whenever they visit and they all love it. Good coffee, delicious savoury or sweet options
Waited a long time after sitting for service. Rude staff, uneven quality of meals.not customer focussed. Was a regular but never again.
Beautiful atmosphere always busy. Service is fantastic particularly from Camille and Alice. Crepes always hit the spot there's one for everyone.
Enjoyed the crepes and coffee (Cafe Liegeois).
This place has good vibe and open till 9ish, which makes it ideal for some post-evening dessert.
Delicious food, wonderful service, delightful staff. Well worth a visit for something a bit different to the usual cafe fare.
Always friendly happy staff.
Crepes are delicious. Love the sugar and lemon crepe.
Have tried quite a few and all tasty. Nice coffee too.
Just as good as the one in the city. Beautiful fluffy crepes and a really warm busy atmosphere.
Western European it is. I had a great meal and dessert. Staff were lovely, good atomosphere.
I shall return again for some more Francias cuisine.
Something different for breakfast was definitely not a wrong decision, especially at this cafe! Loved their savoury crepe and friendly customer service.
Delicious food, lovely staff and an absolute smorgasbord of sweet and savoury options! Great cider as well
What a legit place to have a french crepes, suzzette flambe was mindblowing. Cant wait to try the others.
One of my favourite places to visit in Carnegie. Authentic French cuisine and the crepes are absolutely beautiful with a huge selection available.
Vegan friendly with many options.
A good selection of wine and beer. The coffee is also quite good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lovely decorations - with a neat map of France showing where the staff are from
Definitely recommend booking as space inside is quite limited. Tables are quite crowded in so depending on the time of day, it can be a little noisy. There are also outdoor dining tables - the traffic noise can be a little intrusive if seated outside.
You need to try the Crepe Suzette -
Tasty food, friendly young staff, little mix ups were fixed with grace.we'll be back to try some other dishes.
Table of 4 ; went there for Sunday dinner. All staff are friendly and chatting when it’s quite.
The mix cheese /charcuteries platter was great.
The snails were the first disappointment: barely hot and lacking of seasoning in the butter ; the main ingredient after the snails themselves.
The savoury galettes had that beautiful buckwheat taste, duck confit (why not…) was good.
The prosciutto (jambon de Bayonne?) was way too salty.
Mine was supposed to be the « Tartiflette »…
Biggest disappointment of the night; absolutely not made with Reblochon but something trying to be similar.
I have been trying personally to find reblochon in Melbourne and it is not easily available.
Please do not state that you are using Reblochon when it’s clearly not!
It has a terrible taste of « old cheese crust” and I didn’t finished it. Told the serveuse, not her fault, she’s only work there…
The sweet crepes were beautiful, simple for me with a bit of strawberry jam.
Second visit in Roule Galette Carnegie, maybe not an another.
The other restaurant in the City seems to be more consistent and better.
