It used to be really good before but not now.
We order curry laksa noodle the chicken smell kinda weird.
Again we went there few days after to eat char kuey tiew they has over cook. Ask for make a new one but they use the previous ingredients instead of fully cook a new food
Big time disappointed

Whenever we are craving malay food, roti road is the place to go. Flavorsome and decent portions. Slightly on the pricier side when you know it costs next to nothing in Singapore or Malaysia, but what can you do!

Love this place, the hainan chicken rice is amazing, the nasi lemak is delicious (especially the rendang chicken) and satay is to die for!
Literally nothing I don't like about this place. Even the customer service is top notch with fast food service, even opens a little earlier than advertised and super transparent with the expected time for food to arrive.
Highly recommend.

For the service and the atmosphere - it really does not justify the price for the food. The food is priced at a restaurant level but that’s not the level of food, service or space.

Ordered three dishes which were all very overpriced.

Satay chicken was probably the best dish that made sense with pricing.

Ordered salt and pepper fried tofu and it came out with heavily battered tofu. That was a horribly cooked dish and very expensive. $15 which I could have ordered a whole other meal. It was so disappointing because there was more batter than tofu. You can’t be changing that much for food that is food court self service quality.

The kangkung was good - but again - way too expensive.

Not coming back here unless I want roti only - because the rest of the food - I can find better cooked and priced Malaysian food elsewhere.

In terms of flavors we had a pretty average experience 3 years ago when we ate at the Footscray branch. Decided to give the Highpoint one a try. Roti Chinai was very nice especially the Dhal. Nasi Goreng with Chicken Berempah was delicious. But the the dried egg noodle with curry chicken was too overpowering. The noodles had too much seasoning and together with the curry chicken was too much. You need to balance out a curry with some plain carbs to really appreciate the flavors of the curry. We would come again but in a place were there a plenty of choices to eat they need to pickup their game. 3 stars!
