Roti Road reviews
65Very bad experience with Uber eat. They want to touch my phone with very bad attitude. Very rude customer services. Never come back.
I love their food so much. Especially nasi lemak is best in Melbourne:) honestly I didn’t expect that much. But it was really really good. I will definitely visit again!
Highpoint Venu- Very tasty all round - halal (best to double check) Kitchen hand can change.
Soup base, vegan & seafood options & loads of tofu magic Take option always available too.
Best laksa ever. It's the only place where I eat laksa for years. Their rice and noodle variety are also must try. Very clean and tidy kitchen as you can watch the entire kitchen by a huge glass window.
Updating this review after a few more visits to the outlet in Highpoint. Still absolutely love the authentic flavours - this is one of the only places I find flavours that are this close to the real thing.
Reducing my 4 stars to 3 stars though - the wait is consistently long for menu items that should be ready to go i.e. Should not require more than a few minutes of prep and plating. Waiting times being more than 20 mins for dishes like Nasi Lemak in what is essentially a food court environment while being charged a public holiday surcharge is just unacceptable and pure bad resource planning.
A really good feed.authentic flavours and very generous portions. The roti canai, nasi lemak, rendang beef, nasi goreng and teh tarik are my staples here.
Absolutely disgusting place to eat. The food was rubbish and so was the service. Everything we ordered from the pictures on the menu looked nothing like what we got. The chicken curry came with shell fish next to it and no description was made correctly on the menu. The roti wrap looked like it had minced meat in but all hard pieces. Took them forever to get the roti bread with dips and looked nothing like the pictures. When I asked them why they look different they said it’s just for display which I see as false advertising. I do not recommend eating here I promise u will hate it.
Placed an order through Door Dash. Order never arrived. Called the store and they said they couldn’t help me. Worst customer experience ever. First time ordering from them and the last!
Nasi lemak chicken rendang was below average. The prawn samba was tasteless and made nasi lemak tasteless. Rice was soggy. Roti canai was not well cooked. And the curries was really bad taste. And worst dall and samba was so sweet. Didn't enjoy the food that I was craving for! Total let down!
This is one of the best places for Malaysian food on the west side of Melbourne.
The roti are yummy and taste. Nasi lemak is super delicious. The cost is very reasonable as this is my regular place for dinner with friends. Highly recommended.
The food is delicious, absolutely malaysia taste.place is clean, staff attend is good.will bring friend and comr again.
Went there today with family, and have to say, the food was great, quite authentic and very tasty. But more importantly, the service was fantastic all around, from the person who took our order to the person who served us.
Foods are good compared to the one in Footscray. Roti canai is very nice. Dhal for roti in Footscray tasted like someone dropped tumeric powder inside. Dhal at this branch tasted just nice. However portion wise, this branch is very tiny. For example beef rendang for nasi lemak. Very little compared to another branch. Prices have increased recently. So might not go there that often any more.
Food and drink were so delicious! The service was even better! Exceptional customer service especially Celine who took our order and was great at recommending everything and also when clearing our table. It was the Bubbly and bright energy that made us stay abit longer. Thanks to the chefs beautiful food whole experience was 10/10 will be back again Soon.
I was not allowed to sit myself down as always when I come to this highpoint food court. I was then explained due to covid change has apply, Totally understand due to the covid restaurant and owners are frustrated. But there was no guarding like all other restaurants to ensure this doesn’t happen but for staff to come up and tell us to get off.you need to order first before sit down, I am not getting a family of 3 to go stand with me to order and pay for the foos then allow to be sit down. What if I have a family of 10! Then I should be seated down and orders get taken at the table and pay after.instead being yelled at and saying to me it’s due to covid.please read the rules of covid on DHHS website.under the law currently the are no restriction in food courts but to place mask and fill out the the QR scan for contact tracing.it is such poor customer service to be treated and like this.love the food but last time I will be here.
Roti road has the MOST amazing salt and pepper tofu I have ever eaten!
There is soooo much flavour! I could eat it every day!
Service is efficient
<Wonderful food>
I came in on my own around 7: 45pm.
I waited for about 15 mins to order.
But the fish head laksa was definitely worth the wait!
It was nice and steamy when it arrived!
I only wished I had brought my mum along!
The serve was HUGE and I could only manage to go through half of it!
Thank YoU Roti Road Highpoint for this wonderful experience!
Was recommended by good friends to give a visit and it was beyond my expectations. Roti with 3 drippings is one of my recommendations. It comes with freshly toasted roti, sambal balachan (my favourite) and daal (chickpeas sauce). Other 2 dishes are Malaysian fried rice with crispy fried chicken and nasi lamak with beef rangdang. In conclude we end up paying only $36 for 3 dishes so worth it for casual lunch with wonderful meals.
Would definitely come back!
Eat here all the time. Reasonably priced but good food. Seldom have any complaints and the service is ok! It's almost always crowded as well so best you come early or be ready to wait.
A nice find. Portions are good and food looked like how they're presented on the menu. Taste is great and the flavours are very close to the what you'd get from Malaysia/Singapore but with the added bonus of Western serving sizes.
After standing in a long queue, finally was able to order my food. Fair enough is thrusday a busy night. The problem was that when I tried to get staff attention, no one seemed to care. I noticed that my order was just sitting there. None of the staff tried to say hey your takeway is ready. By that time I was waiting for 35 mins. Pathetic customer service. Will never ever order from here again.
