Roti Road reviews
65 I just ordered vermicelli seafood with hainese chicken rice on the side. The fish in the vermicelli taste bad and spoilt also the chicken of the hainese chicken rice look undercooked.
Never again will I ever eat here and I hope I don’t get sick with a little bit have eating already.
Great place to have a quick lunch whilst shopping! Was highly recommended by a colleague when we were at Roti Road in Footscray.
Ordered char kuay teow and seafood tom yum vermicelli soup, food came out very quick.
Char kuay teow was great the rice noodles used was thin I am used to the thicker rice noodles but was very tasty.
Highlight for us was the seafood tom yum vermicelli soup. First taste of the soup was spicy but also packed a punch with flavour.
Definitely will be back soon to try other food, thank you Roti Road Highpoint.
One of the well-known Malaysian restaurants in highpoint shopping centre. Had a chance to try once the weekend.
The restaurant has plenty of seats and is great looking.
The foods listed on the menu are great choices.
One of the best Malaysian restaurant chains of Melbourne! I love eating here. Though I loved the old menu and prices better, I highly recommend their Curries, Special Fried Rice and Drinks.
Service was bad, the cashier was very rude; as if she doesn't want to work and that bleeds out through her attitude. Date and time: 16/11/23 @ 12.16pm. ATTENTION to the Roti Road Manager. KEEP YOUR STAFF IN CHECK! Customer service needs a lot of work.
Quality and taste of the food was great! Really good Nasi Goreng, Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai
Edit: a year later and it is still a great place that serves really tasty food
Food not the greatest in tatse. Have had better char kuay teow. I also didn't like the fact that they forgot one order. We finished one meal and still waiting for another. Not good enough.
Let's go Highpoint! A weekend of long nights and warm days lead to crave for authentic asian hearty dishes. Serving up the best traditional Malay food infused with Chinese flavours, perfect for that pick me up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
: Char Kuay Teow, Satay Chicken & Special Fried
Came for dinner tonight with a friend for the MO9 and the chicken came out it was hot on the outside and raw on the inside. Then when I raised this to the staff they came back and told me I would need to wait another 15/20 minutes… I advised the waitress I can’t wait that long as I had already waiting for my food for 30 minutes whilst my friend already got his food. Not good service and nothing was offered to me for compensation… not a good time won’t be coming back here be careful when eating here and check the chicken. Also to managers and HR reading this please train your staff in how to cook chicken properly
If you come to Roti Road I highly suggest you guys stick with the stir-fry/noodle options.
If you come here I highly suggest you guys to load up on the spice, as it is really good.
My favourite place for roti canai in Melbourne. Their dough is so flaky and crispy and the accompanying curry and dhal are equally amazing. They also serve other Malaysian food like laksa, satay and nasi goreng which all tasted very authentic. Nothing to be faulted to be honest
Enjoyed the satay chicken so much I went back for another serving of satay chicken along with chicken ribs, roti canai and rendang beef. Each had its unique flavor of seasonings. ALL left me happy with my purchase. The roti was good, a bit on the smaller side in terms of size for me, so I would recommend buying an extra roti, especially if ordering roti canai and beef rendang.
The noodle too sweet and not much ingredients at all. Only few pcs fish cakes n around 15 very small little pcs of meats which r very hard.
VERY DISAPPOINTED &
Terrible experience with this one. Kitchen was rushed for a close, was not told food is going to be a while. Waited 25 mins, no food comes to the table, owner comes around advised a refund. No apologies and seems do not care. Come on, is this about money?
The food was delicious, and the service was great. Got a Nasi Goreng with the fried chicken and a lime drink that was beyond my expectations. Would definitely give it a 5 star if there wasn't a lady shouting in public at the manager.
Highpoint setting is always busy but the service, food and atmosphere is always great.been going here for years. I highly recommended everyone to try it. I tell you. " you will love it"️
An absolutely disgusting place, the seafood laksa was not cooked properly and made me sick in the space of less then an hour - do NOT recommend this place to anyone - there are far better options.
A plethora of your favourite Malay foods to choose from! The quality is amazing and the food came out really quick. The customer service was also lovely, especially the new worker- he was great! 100% will come back and definitely recommend to anyone craving Malay soul food.
Good food spoiled by bad service
Please learn to bring the meals out together. Nothing worse than going out to dinner and eating separately
Ideally you want the entrees to come out first
I had amazing brunch experience here. The waiter and waitress were being so helpful. Surprisingly fast food served. Will coming back here.
