We are local Murrumbeena Primary School fathers who have set up a 9 hole golf group to get to know each other. I rang around all local pubs to see who would sponsor us to incentivise giving them our business and the Rosstown very generously came to the party. Thankyou so much Chris and team for making us so welcome. The 10th Hole Crew will be back to enjoy the delicious food and surrounds.

Food was okay apart from some inconsistencies but service just ruined our dinner.
We had a reservation at 5: 30pm and got there earlier besides a few in our group but we were all seated before 5: 40pm, by 5: 45pm a staff member came up to us and told us that we needed to get our order in asap due to another seating 2 hours later.
We felt pushed and pressured to hurry up, eat and just get out.
My review is not reflecting on every team member, just one but the attitude she gave was condescending and passive aggressive.
We did not feel welcome and it was hard to enjoy our dinner.

No vegan options. Bar staff disinterested and halfway through me asking "can anything be made vegan" the bar tender started taking someone else's order.

Nice enough pub, but very disappointing service.

I had a 250g steak there the other day which was charged at $36. Medium/Rare is what l asked for.
Steak was cooked worse than welldone and was ruined. Worst pub meal in years.

WARNING! Staff at this venue are horrible! If they don’t enjoy their job they should find another. A lot of “No”, passive aggressive comments and woeful body language. If I could rate the place no stars I would. Food is below average.

Great venue for functions with dining area, TAB area, Sports Bar and outside dining/ entertainment area. Good food at a reasonable price with friendly staff to take your order

My partner and I enjoy going here for a meal every couple of weeks. Friendly staff and delicious hearty meals

Just a nice pub with a good standard menu and friendly service especially from the senior waitress / manager with black curly hair who was on this late afternoon again. She’s always excellent at her job!

Just had my daughters 21st. I can’t thank Frances and Di enough. Fantastic coordination of the night and amazing service. Everyone was very impressed with the food and care we were given. They treated us like family and they made it a truly memorable evening!

Best pub in the south east. Good range of food, including tapas, normal bistro meals and a few things a little different. It could be viewed as a little pricey but the meals are normally pretty generous. Love their wild barramundi and their calamari duet. Keep an eye on the specials too.

Great food, quick service. Great place to catch up and watch sport, plenty of different beers on tap. Awesome outdoor area with plenty of screens.

Went to the sports bar here and really enjoyed myself. Nice staff, good drinks and food. Plenty of screens and they do their best to accommodate everyone by having screens spread out showing a variety of games and sport news.

Salmon cakes, chips and salad. Less than 10g of chicken in 2 fishcakes. Just stodgy potato with a bit of flavouring. I had to go looking for the salmon. Salad was tired too. Not impressed but my friends all had good meals.

Fantastic vibe with the best live music! Great food, large portions with lots of choices. Staff are friendly with good service. Every sport is shown on amples of TV's around the hotel.

The roast of the day was roast lamb and it was really good, moist an tender. Pretty good value an portion sizes

Went for Christmas lunch and was very impressed with the food and the way the staff handled a busy day and full house. The choices for lunch covered vegetarian and meat options.

I had the seafood starter. The antipasto plate looked good. No one had the soup in our party.

A selection of roasts with veggies was perfect for the traditionalist in out party. Kids had pasta first course and a burger and chips for main. I went with a steak was was not disappointed. It was perfectly cooked. Another member of our group went with the rissotto. Which was proclaimed to be very good.

A desert buffet was a pleasure. Many choices including traditional steamed pudding and Christmas cake. Cheesecake in many firms, chocolate cakes and mouse. No trifle, but a giant croquembouche and tiramisu made up for it. Great quality.

My second time here. Very nice restaurant with great food at a reasonable price. Will recommend friends to come around.

Ideal for those who enjoy drinking while watching sports.
The location is good and has a large backyard for eating, drinking and smoking. Some days there are live bands.
