Amazing Chicken Tandoori Foccacia for lunch with very friendly staff.

Highly recommended.

Drove past the Rose cafe thinking it was someone's house converted to a cafe. Later found out it was the place we were dining at. It was surprisingly kitsch inside and super great service. Our waitresses were really friendly and helpful.

First up we ordered some hot drinks and they were nice. Price is a little higher than metro Melb prices but I think that's standard.

Once we ordered our food the meals came out in good time. We relocated to the Rose garden underneath the vined verandah. It's super cute under there so I recommend you in take a seat if the weather allows.

I got the Islander chicken burger which was OK. I feel like it could've had a tastier sauce especially for the price of the meal. The serving size is good though. I yaysef the Rose Risotto which had a nice flavour. The treats are also really enticing and we tried the don't biscuits were are delicious!

Worth dropping in to if you're into roses and a cute setting.

Love the outdoor rose garden when it's blossoming. The food is also really good. Definitely worth it on a spring sunny day.

Nice outdoor dining area, great coffee and tasty food, lovely staff, you get your order ready in quality time. I imagen how beautiful is the garden in spring, Will definitely go there again

The experience at the rose cafe was really good the staff are so pleasant and so friendly.so I got the country bacon and egg roll and I tell you what it was the bomb I haven't had a bacon and egg roll this good for a long while the egg was cooked perfectly like lava. The outside seating area is well maintained and has a natural canopy cleverly designed with hills hoist type clothes lines. Myself and 2 friends were really satisfied with our meals.

Gourmet food and lovely setup. We sat outside under some gorgeous trees that had been fashioned into a canopy using hills hoist type clothes lines awesome foresight there. The staff were very good and food was delicious. Can take a while understanding there was quite a few people. (15mins max) visited on a Sunday around 11am. Very pleasant place to visit.

This place is so cute, we sat outside in the sun near all the roses, it was so peaceful.
Ordered the chicken and pesto sandwich (fresh, thick, white bread) and scones with jam and cream, both were delish.
Husbands coffee was apparently amazing and so was my hot chocolate.
Will call past here again for sure.

Nice lunch in the end. We stopped in for brunch, however breakfast had stopped being served and even though there is a lot of crossover between the ingredients in the lunch and brekky menu, we were told that breakfast wasn't available (Even though we watched it come out while we were eating).
A minor inconvenience, but if you want breakfast, head in early

Best cafe in Wallan Kilmore area. A variety of food and drink options at very reasonable prices to suit everybody. Very unique out door seating option to be surrounded by a variety of rose bushes. Due to the relevant altitude of Kilmore outdoor seating is only suggested in spring / summer. Outdoor area is dog friendly with water bowls.

Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. A great menu of 'comfort food' and friendly staff make Rose Cafe a very pleasant experience all round.

Absolutely lovley place for breakfast.
Coffee was hot and service was great. Not cramped in and lots of atmosphere. Nothing was a bother and staff where friendly.
Will return again soon

My daughter had a ridiculous request and they did their best to accommodate. Plus food was delicious!

Really cute cafe with rose garden on the front yard. We came at the busiest hour and they only have one chef working at the kitchen. We have to wait a bit for the food but it is okay as we enjoy the sun outside out in the open. The food is filling with perfect portion and coffee is absolutely nice.

Haven't been here for a while (due to lockdown) but still a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Staff are always happy and polite.

Pleasant little cafe surrounded by beautiful roses, hence the name. Good variety of tasty food on the menu. Friendly staff, clean and tidy environment.

Best coffee I've had out in a long time. Awesome service. Terrific food, good portion size, surrounded by simply beautiful gardens. Sat outside, but with curtains and heater it was very comfortable.

What a beautiful garden to have breakfast in! The rose garden in full boom is stunning to look at while you enjoy a meal. & the staff are so super friendly!

Great staff, super coffee, unfortunately our good friend covid-19 prevented us hanging around. We will be back though
