Amazing service amazing food. Have eaten all through Victoria but this is the best hands down. Also good for motorcycle groups. Excellent prices also

Have eaten here several times, & always enjoyed it. Today, coffee was cold, my husband ordered, & was told he couldn't get it, due to it being before 12noon. So he ordered again, 11.50am, & i watched the cook throw her hands in the air & loudly say "breakfast menu til 12 o'clock! ". Waitress came back to the table, husband said "ok I'll have the omelette" (mother had ordered ham, cheese, tomato omelette) I said no tomato on his, but mushrooms. 2 h/c/t omelettes came out, no mushrooms on his, & waitress argued with me that it was 2 h/c/t omelettes. My large bowl of chips came out as a small bowl.oops wrong table & someone else's. Not impressed at all today, & probably won't come back

WOW.of course your waitress wouldn't have gotten it wrong. She did not advise us initially of the "breakfast only menu times" the first time I placed my husband's order, nor the 2nd time she took his foccacia order. 3rd time, when we ordered the omelette, I DID say "no tomato but add mushrooms"! I understand how busy things can get, but had we been advised of the breakfast menu only times, we would have happily ordered as such. As for my chips, I DID ordered a large, but I guess the waitress wouldn't have gotten that wrong either. I find your response to my review extremely rude, & I'll enjoy plenty of lunches at other cafes in town

A fabulous little restaurant offering indoor &outdoor dining great on a sunny day, and the food was great.

Omg omg omg Had lunch with my Son for his Birthday and ordered the Thai Beef Salad It was the best I’ve ever had 15/10 So tender and the flavours where out of this world Please Please put it on the Menu
Ohhhh! And my coffee (caramel latte in a mug) was also 15/10 and that’s saying something because I’m a coffee connoisseur and very very fussy when it comes to take away coffee 5 ️️️️️

Not a good experience on a cold & foggy morning - incorrect breakfast received. Plates were very cold and food got cold almost as soon as received. Although a/c was on cafe was unpleasantly chilly

Just stopped in on my way past, this place is a hidden gem. The coffee is amazing and the toasties are made fresh when ordered. Will be back with friends.

The place is nice and food is quite good. Unfortunately the service is consistently very very slow. Even simple orders will take ages to get to you. Not a problem if you're planning on chilling there all day, otherwise pick one of the many other local cafes.

If you walk in here at 12: 30 on a Saturday, don’t expect anyone to pay any attention to you, whilst you’re waiting for over 5 minutes, for someone to seat you, when the sign says ‘please wait to be seated’. Easier to find a more accommodating venue eg. Old Kilmore Gaol cafe. $120 gone elsewhere

I was putting scarf & vest on, as it wasn’t as warm as I’d anticipated.
The phone was multitasking, whilst no one was interested, to let rest of party know where to meet us. Your cameras would show that I was frequently looking up to try to catch wait staff eye?
This wasn’t needed in the end as it was fairly obvious that service was wanting.
The review was written later, whilst getting wonderful service, at Old Kilmore Gaol, who managed to provide great service, to triple the customers.

Always a present place to have lunch, middle point between Melbourne and the northern parts of the state, friendly service, great prices and good food.

Beautiful Cafe, lovely delicious food! Friendly and welcoming staff. Gorgeous outdoor seating area in the rose garden.definitely recommend stopping in!

We gad scones jam and cream with our coffees and it was yummy. Kilmore florist has moved into a shop on the grounds and talking about expanding their range. Nice people here

Stopped for late brekky but missed the cut off so had the lamb shank & vegie soup instead. Yum yum. Busy so had to wait but worth it.

Great food and even better coffee but please for the love of god - work on your service.

Twice I’ve been here. First time I had to wait 20 mins for my food after the rest of my table had their food brought out (table of 7). I was eating while everyone had finished.

Second time; only four meals. First two came out. Third came out after 10 mins after asking then fourth came out another 10 mins after that.

Place has gone downhill
Much nicer places in town.
Food here has been burnt the last couple of times and the coffee is disgusting.

We went there for breakfast on Sunday. Pleasant surroundings. I had previously had the French toast - which was served with strawberries and was delicious. This is no longer on the menu. Although the picture is still displayed on the website. I ordered the French toast / my husband had sausages eggs and bacon. We waited ages for our food and when it did arrive / my French toast was COLD and my husbands eggs were over cooked. Very disappointed. We had travelled from Melbourne and were really looking forward to it.

Service was great and I ordered a BLT for breaky. Nice crispy bacon and absolutely delicious I always come back here for the BLT alone well done.
